From the minute we arrived, we felt right at home. Michelle is such a kind and welcoming host—and honestly, the coolest farmer we’ve ever met! She takes care of everything around the house with so much love, and it makes the whole place feel really special. We spent a month at Borgo Solario and couldn’t be happier with our choice. Everything was perfect: well-kept, comfortable, and exactly as described. The area around the property is beautiful, with trails that are great for walks or runs right outside your door. Working remotely was no problem—the Wi-Fi was reliable and we had everything we needed. Michelle, thank you again for everything! Give our love to the cats—we miss them already. Hopefully we’ll be back sometime, maybe during olive harvest season ❤️

We absolutely loved staying here! Monica and Renato are amazing hosts and were great with giving us recommendations. The apartment was extremely clean and well stocked — even the walls looked fresh and squeaky clean. This place was a great base for day trips to local hilltowns like Cortona and Montepulciano. We were very comfortable and would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a great countryside stay.

Super friendly and helpful hosts and impeccable location. The residence is historic and you can feel a quiet and pleasant atmosphere. Hosts shared some products from their garden with us and recommended activities and places to visit. We had a great time and felt welcomed, thank you!

We had wonderful days in Simona's house in Tuscany. The property is in a secluded location and you can immediately enjoy the peace and quiet when you arrive there. Her husband Yens was, just like Simona, very friendly and helpful. Our children loved the pool and even more so the two dogs Cooper and Nihal. The apartment is very tastefully and authentically furnished. Outside there are also cozy spots everywhere for barbecuing, relaxing and unwinding. We also had some lovely trips to Cortona, Siena, Bagne San Filippo and of course Castiglione del Lago. One of our best experiences was the wine tasting with Anna, a friend of Simona. She is a wonderfully warm person and has so much knowledge and of course good wine. Our conclusion: We had one of the best holidays we have ever had.
