Monthly Rentals in Long Strand

What an amazing location! A stones throw from a beautiful beach and a fantastic cliff top walk to Rosscarbery via Warren beach. The communal areas in the estate are a little tired, but the fact they are there is a huge positive, with table tennis and pool table and a slide and swing set. Having two little ones is the reason we are sighting for leaving a number of toys and other items there, but Paula has been extremely supportive in finding a way to reunite us. Her communication throughout has been exceptional.

Lovely place to stay close to Clonakilty town but perfectly situated on the outskirts. The place was immaculately clean and the shower downstairs is amazing. Would definitely return!

Kathleen was such a responsive host. She was great to deal with, so friendly on arrival and throughout our stay, lots of local recommendations . Then house its self was beautifully decorated and so well laid out. The toys and books for the kids and children’s cutlery was a lovely added bonus. We were a family of 4 adults and 3 children and it felt very spacious and bright. The surroundings and view were beautiful.

This Carton Store conversion is so cool! It is beautifully converted and decorated - a blend of styles: rustic, futuristic, retro and antique…and it all works! Very interesting. The bathroom is amazing, the shuttered kitchen window is beautiful, and the loft styled bed is fun (the other sofa bed is also very comfy). Location is peaceful and is perfect for exploring the Castlefreke (lovely walk), Clonakilty, Kinsale and Cork. Clonakilty has a great vibe with the best bars being Con & Maura’s and De Barras (a must!). Rob and Ciara are great hosts - easy and swift communication, and we had the pleasure of meeting Ciara who was kind enough to arrange a taxi to take us into the town. Their adorable dog Hanna will come and visit you…for that extra special touch :) The Carton Store is an absolute gem of a stay…book it!
