Family-friendly vacation rentals in London

On top of genuinely getting what's in the description, which is already pretty decent, and a responsive host ready to adjust checkin and checkout times for my convenience, the showering facilities are worth mentioning. a decent shower pressure and hot water temperature is not guaranteed, so it got my attention. Also, amazing towels! I am sure I will be back.

Goran was very friendly and kind, with a lot of information about food places to eat. He was flexible with our check in time when we arrived early, and came over quickly to respond to a minor issue with the water heater. All in all a great host. We loved staying at the apartment.

Our family of three had a great stay at Gabriel’s flat over 2024 holiday week. The flat is perfectly located, spacious, clean and beautiful. Photo depictions are accurate. The flat faces the rear so is very quiet. It overlooks a church yard that provides a scenic view. It is next to the charming Seven Dials/Neals Yard area and very convenient to West End theatres, tube and all sights. Gabriel and his friend Dean, who checked us in, were responsive and flexible. We were happy to find bottles of water, breakfast foods, and snacks that made our stay so much easier. In all, we could not have had a better experience!

Vanessa's place was very nice. It was well-organized, and super convenient for me given mix of business and leisure during my trip. There was enough space to do a bit of work, and it had all the ammenities (iincluding a bit of tea and coffee, shampoo/soap and even laundry detergent). She was also very communicative, and quick to clarify anything. Would recommend.

Rich has such a gorgeous flat!! He clearly takes pride in the decor and artwork and his love for the space really shines through. You feel so at home in the best way. The location also could not be beat! So close to the tube and walkable to Buckingham palace and loads of other sight seeing spots. The lift is so helpful, shower pressure perfect, terrace is so glam, beds so SO comfy. Highly highly recommend!!

An easy walk from the train station through the car park directly opposite the station. Lots of room to socialise with open plan kitchen, dining and lounge areas. Neat and tidy. And we appreciated the coffee pods and the welcome to Epsom basket complete with nuts and crisps.

We had a fantastic stay at this flat in London! The location was absolutely perfect—central and within easy reach of all the major sights, making it super convenient for exploring the city. The flat itself was lovely: clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully appointed. Our host truly went above and beyond. She welcomed us with snacks and sparkling wine, which was such a treat after a long overnight flight. She also accommodated an early check-in, which we really appreciated. Her local recommendations and tips for things to do in London were incredibly helpful and made our visit even more enjoyable. The neighborhood was charming and full of character, with plenty of cozy pubs, well-stocked grocery stores, and friendly wine shops all just a short walk away. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay and would absolutely book again!

It was a lovely stay. The apartment was roomy, spotlessly clean and very well equipped. Although the apartment was at the end of a walkway, the directions provided were excellent and it was easy to find. The check in was easy and we arrived a bit early but Marcus was there to meet us and show us around the apartment and give us any necessary instructions. Overall it was a great place to stay and I would stay again and recommend it.

Hannah was a great host and very responsive. The flat was beautiful and spotless with lots of conveniences. She proactively provided shopping and dining recommendations which were very helpful. Highly recommend.

The location is great! Bus stop and tube station at walking distance. Tower Bridge and other attractions are also a short walk away. The studio had everything one would need for the stay.

We recently stayed at April’s place while attending my sister’s funeral service, and it turned out to be the perfect home away from home during a difficult time. The house was clean, peaceful, and very thoughtfully prepared. Although we didn’t choose the place for its Harry Potter theme, it added a surprisingly comforting and magical atmosphere to our stay. April was a wonderful host—she provided thoughtful breakfast essentials like milk, cereal, tea, sugar, and fresh fruit, which we really appreciated. When I had a question about an adapter for charging electronic devices, she responded right away and quickly resolved the issue. Overall, our experience was seamless and comforting. We had no complaints and would absolutely recommend April’s place to anyone looking for a peaceful, well-kept, and welcoming stay—with a fun Harry Potter twist!

We had an amazing stay at Trevor & Natasha’s. The flat is centrally located and just two blocks from Gloucester Rd station. Plenty of restaurants, pubs and shops in the area. The flat was clean snd spacious with two comfortable bedrooms. Nice bathroom with amenities we needed. We would definitely come back again and recommend this flat. They were responsive hosts and answered all questions we had immediately. Definitely recommend!

Matt was an amazing host to a beautiful apartment. Very responsive and direct with his communication. If you are arriving with luggage, you will be walking around 5-10 through a quiet neighborhood so be aware of that.

Matthew's place was honestly great. Fully stocked, spotlessly clean and ideal for the weekend plans we had. unfortunately I didn't get a chance to meet him but he helped my sister with the check in while I was on my way and he popped in to see my wife and child while me and my sister were at a festival. I will definitely consider staying here again if we have similar plans next year.

Tom kindly greeted us at the apartment and showed us around the place and how things worked. The apartment was so central, we walked everywhere! The area was really quiet and we felt totally safe. Lovely stay visiting the Chelsea Flower Show.

David’s place is perfect for a short stay in London. Close to everything, including the tube, and on a semi private street so you felt like you had some quiet at the end of a busy day of exploring!

Sharon’s place was fantastic, it really was a home away from home. It was in a great location near transport but also great pubs, cafes and also within walking distance of the gorgeous Notting Hill ✨

The location of this flat could not have been better. Just seconds from the tube station, great pubs and restaurants and only a few minutes to Portobello market on Friday and Saturday. We felt at home in Sophie’s colourful flat and appreciated the extra and unexpected amenities she offered. We had very little reason to communicate with Sophie during our stay but when we did she replied promptly. You do hear the sounds of the city but that is to be expected in this vibrant neighbourhood. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again!

Really enjoyed my stay here. Was my first time traveling solo and this was the perfect spot for my first time. Flat was a pleasant 10 minute walk from the closet tube station. The flat was clean and had beautiful plants to look at. Sharon was attentive and gave fast responses when needed. Highly recommend staying here!

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The Airbnb was clean and cozy. It was the perfect central location in London as it facilitated easy travel to and from the tube, close to key attractions and restaurants/pubs etc. Mark was communicative and checked in to ensure all was well and was available in the event we had questions.
