Twin Bedded room available to rent in a cosy, friendly and clean house in Leyton, East London. Location The house is in a quiet, residential area ideally located for visiting all parts of London and beyond. It is 5 minutes walk to Leyton tube station which is on the Central line with easy, direct access to Central London. 2 minutes to Stratford, the Olympic Park & Westfield shopping Centre, 10 minutes to the City and 20 minutes to the West End. 2 minutes walk to local bus services including night buses on Leyton High Road. Good links to all London airports including Stansted, London City, Heathrow & Gatwick and all major London Train stations are easily accessible by tube. Also excellent road links serving all parts of the UK. Local Amenities The local area has a variety of good restaurants, friendly pubs, supermarkets and shopping facilities. There are good local sports facilities in the area, these include a swimming pool, tennis courts, gym, golf range, ice skating and horse riding centre. There is a local park 2 minutes walk away and Epping Forest is close by. Accommodation The private room which is situated upstairs at the back of the house is light, airy and nicely furnished. The furniture is in good condition and consists of 2 single beds, wardrobe, chest of drawers and bedside cabinet. The room is fully carpeted. It would be ideal for one or two people sharing. Fresh towels and Bed linen are provided and changed on a weekly basis or when required. All other facilities are communal and available for guests to use. (The maximum number of people staying in the house at any one time is four including myself.) These include: Bathroom - on the same floor as the private room; it is fully tiled, with hand basin, toilet, bath and shower. There is also a separate toilet on the ground floor of the house. Kitchen – This is on the ground floor and has a hob, oven, grill, and microwave and there is a breakfast bar to sit at if required. There is a washer/dryer also available for use. All crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils are provided for guests to use and there is ample cupboard and fridge space available. Living and Dining area – Also on the ground floor it is comfortably furnished with wooden flooring. There are 2 leather sofas, dining table and chairs, desk space, computer and wi fi access if you need it. There is a 46" HD TV, all Sky and cable channels available, TiVo box, DVD, blu-ray player and radio/CD player. There is also a small back garden and on-street parking is available on request. Other Info English breakfast, packed lunches and supper can be provided at a small extra charge. Continental Breakfast, tea, coffee and soft drinks are included in the price. There is also a small single room available for rent in the same house so ideal for a family of 3 or 3 friends sharing who want to spend time in London in good quality accommodation at a reasonable rate. Charmingly Converted Vicarage near Bookshops and Galleries

Step through an iron gate under a stone archway and explore a secret and serene garden in the heart of East London. The house teems with original character in its floorboards, brickwork, and timbered ceilings. Refresh in thoroughly modern bathrooms. Our property is housed in a beautiful converted Victorian vicarage, designed by Edward Charles Hakewill in the 1860s. The building retains many of its period features including double and tripartite sash windows with stone dressings. The vicarage is set back from the street behind two sets of gates, meaning it is peaceful, secluded and secure. The street itself is a cul-de-sac leading down to a pedestrian/cycle entrance to London Fields and there's very little traffic. The upper floor of the property comprises a spacious and bright double bedroom, a huge double-height living area with a mezzanine with a double bed, a dine-in open plan kitchen and a modern bathroom. The ground floor has a cosy double bedroom, large living area with sofa bed, a second dine-in tiled kitchen and a modern bathroom. The lower floor has a large twin bedroom, en suite bathroom and laundry area. The decor is clean and elegant with vintage touches and in keeping with the atmosphere of the building. Please note the property is spread over a number of floors and there is no lift. It's ideal for big family holidays and friends' get togethers with lots of space in which to dine and relax. The property is surrounded by a peaceful private garden which guests are welcome to enjoy - perfect for a larger group in summer. Please do be careful of little ones around the pond! Guests will have access to the entire property during their stay. The house is near London Fields, a lively, well-designed public park with a wildflower meadow. Sunny double room/balcony/shower/wc

Lovely sunny double bedroom, has its own shower/wc, and a balcony overlooking the private woods behind the house. It is close to Honor Oak Station with fast connections to Central London and Whitechapel. My guests share the kitchen and living rooms with myself and my small dog Charlie and I have wi fi and free view tv. There is a washing machine to use and you are very welcome to cook if you wish. It is very peaceful here and there is a great view over London too but it is also very easy to get into Central London. There are some good local restaurants as well. I like all of my guests to feel really relaxed here and you are welcome to tea and coffee at any time. I enjoy helping guests finding their way around London and having lived here a long time can suggest places to go as well.

Whole top floor, two ensuite bedrooms & Breakfast.

Our lovely, quiet home is set in leafy Muswell Hill, only 20 minutes by tube from Central London. The top (second) floor looks mainly south over beautiful gardens towards elegant Victorian houses. The tube and the two vibrant London 'villages' of Muswell Hill and Crouch End (cafes, cinemas etc.) are close by. Woods, open spaces and Alexandra Palace are even nearer. We offer a healthy vegan breakfast and a warm, informed welcome to London. We now have Victor, a very shy, rescue greyhound.

Live like a Londoner! Experience a part of London, only 20 minutes from tourist areas but where working Londoners come home to. Eat, drink, go to the cinema and even the theatre. All within easy walking or a short bus trip from our space. When you've been with the crowds all day, looking at all the sights - it's great to come back to Archway for peace and relative quiet! Stunning, Dbl En Suite in Grade II Georgian Home

Built in 1697, our lovely Georgian Home is right next to Putney Bridge. Located on the first floor, a modern and contemporary room perfect for couples and the single traveller. We have lived in London for many years and love passing on our favourite local gems to all our guests We also do not charge a cleaning fee! Lovely room with ensuite near Finsbury Park

Great location near centre with excellent transport nearby. Our double-bedded room with own ensuite bathroom is very comfortable, fully-equipped and private for 1 or 2 people. If you are 3 or 4 people we've a second double-bedded room next to it at extra cost. Contact me before requesting a booking if you need the two rooms. Eight minutes walk to Manor House tube (Piccadilly Line) and near buses. Please note: No kitchen access except breakfast.

Pretty double room near centre with good breakfast

Our guests love the room as it is cosy and warm. There is a lovely garden at the back of the flat which you are welcome to use. The flat is well located for public transport into central London (10 minutes by tube to Euston and Kings Cross ), there is a train straight to Stansted from Tottenham Hale (35 mins) and Liverpool Street(12 mins)We are a multi cultural couple. My husbands is Cuban and I am Scottish. We speak English, French and Spanish.

The Central Line, will take you to Liverpool Street (heart of financial district "The City") in under 15 minutes. Central Line is now scheduled to run all night on Friday & Saturdays.
