The cottage is very easy to relax in. Bea and Moose were always friendly and helpful. We enjoyed being there very much as well as visiting local towns.

Weaver's Cottage National park

We had an extremely relaxing and peaceful time at Isobel's property. It is a remote location (which suited us) but beautiful scenery and there was tons of wildlife around - we loved the rabbits roaming the fields all around. We still found plenty of things to do in the vicinity like walks, castles, lochs and you can even get to the coast in an hour. Lovely place, would highly recommend!

The Edge - Amazing 140-foot" Cliff Top Views

HazelRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We had the most incredible stay at Windy Edge. From the moment we arrived, it felt like a true home away from home. The photos were stunning when we booked, but the reality exceeded every expectation. The property is modern, beautifully kept, and clearly designed with care – every detail thoughtfully considered. Lynsay and Dave were fantastic hosts, so welcoming and attentive from start to finish, making the whole experience seamless. The location is perfect – peaceful and tucked away, yet close enough to shops for anything you might need, striking the ideal balance. The views are truly something special, unlike anything I’ve seen before, and I’ve stayed in many beautiful places. Waking up to those stunning landscapes each morning was a real privilege. The space itself is spotless, spacious, and equipped with everything you could possibly need, my family made the most perfect memories together Can’t recommend Windy Edge highly enough – we will definitely be back xx

Ballater, Entire home hosted by Catherine

FredRating, 5 stars1 day ago
Catherine met us on arrival and talked us through all we needed to know about the apartment. Milk, coffee, tea and biscuits were supplied. Everything was of a very high standard and extremely clean. The location on the Main Street was perfect for accessing the local amenities and walks. Ballater itself is a very picturesque town with great shops and restaurants and just for a change “free parking !”. We made great use of the superb butcher located directly across the road. We were able to explore the local region with Balmoral Castle and Dunnottar Castle being just 2 of the many highlights. Overall the apartment gives great value in a superb location. We did have one small issue which was dealt with very quickly by Catherine and Jonathan. We would love to return and would definitely recommend this comfortable, stylish home from home. Thank you Helen and Fred
