Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Lofoten

The views for this place were even better than the pictures can portray! There was a view outside of every window! The host was easy to communicate with and made it feel so welcome! This cabin feels like it's loved and part of a family. Such an incredible spot!

The best airbnb we've stayed in! The pictures of the post don't do its justice for the breathtaking view that stunned us the moment we arrived. The house is beautifully decorated. Kitchen is well maintained and more than fully stocked. So perfect, that we could've stayed forever.:) I left my phone time-lapsed the midnight run's movement overnight in the living room. Couldn't think of anywhere else could offer such comfort. Marius was very responsive and considerate. The instruction to find the house is clear. Just pay attention to the house #. It will help in finding the way. Located conveniently close to Leknes which has everything. Minor notes: no microwave nor shampoo. But the place was so flawless that we didn't mind. A sidenote - Sorry I turned off the heater coz it's warm. I only learned later that in Norway it is probably more energy efficient to leave the main heater on all the time. I should have known better. A truly unforgettable experience-highly recommend!

La casa de Elin era muy acogedora y estaba muy limpia, la recomiendo totalmente, Hans nos recibió con estas palabras " Bienvenidos al paraíso ", y la verdad es que fué así, un lugar muy tranquilo y acogedor, la casa tiene un muelle y disponíamos de un Kayak para utilizarlo , gracias a Hans por el pescado que nos regaló, estaba muy rico.

Super logement et hôte ! Nous avons apprécié la situation du logement : proche du centre ville (5 minutes à pieds) et du départ de randonnée (20 minutes à pieds). La vue est très jolie sur l'eau et les montagnes. L'appartement est cosy et très bien équipé. Vous trouverez tout ce dont vous avez besoin.

Veldig fin hytte, med oppgradert kjøkken, stue og bad og fine soverom. Eneste vi synes var litt dårlig, var gammel kjøkkenutstyr og service. Her burde man oppgradert dette. Ellers fin beliggenhet.

Hilde‘s home is one of the most beautiful places I have ever stayed in. It’s elegant, cozy, warm, beautifully decorated, the kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to make yourself feel completely at home. There are baskets of sweaters so you can sit warmly on the balcony and watch the water and the light change. She has thought of every detail you might want to be able to relax fully and enjoy this unusual island. She even has binoculars for you to use to watch the birds and any sea animals that might come by. She was helpful, kind and timely in every interaction I had with her. I could stay here happy for a month and perhaps I will another time!

Within ~1 year, this place got 20 five-star reviews. The only reason it hasn't crossed 50 is: Sortland is less popular than mainland Lofoten. The place is not only handled with, but also designed with utmost care. Originally built in 1934, every corner of it carries a meaning that not even an unwatchful guest can ignore. There is family heritage, and there is just the right amount of it. That's where the comfort begins. Living room is smaller than its photos. But with modern furniture & a smart TV, you never run out of indulgence. Kitchen & barbecue hut are well-equipped with utensils and tools for all types of cooking. Bedrooms are comfy, and just right for the cosy cuddles. The grassy, lush outside with a private beach is kept free of bugs by hosts. You can't get enough of the hot tub under starry/green sky! The best part is the proactive hosts who promply fulfill all unmet needs. The house, with all its warmth, keeps luring you. A tough fight against luscious Lofoten!

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Haus bietet viel Raum und einen wunderbaren Blick auf den Fjord und die Berge. Leider konnten wir die Terasse nicht genießen, weil es zu viel geregnet hat, aber sie ist ein weiteres Highlight.

Sehr freundliches und zuvorkommendes Gastgeberehepaar. Wir haben vier traumhafte Wochen in dieser sehr schönen Unterkunft verbracht. Der Service war perfekt. Die Gastgeberin hat uns sogar mit auf Ihre Hunderunden mitgenommen. Nicht nur wir waren begeistert sondern auch unser Hund Buddy hat sich von Anfang an heimisch gefühlt und sich Tag für Tag seine Leckerchen abgeholt. Besonders wertvoll waren auch die persönlichen Ausflugstipps. Danke für einen absolut gelungenen Urlaub

Ubicación perfecta, puedes ir caminando a las tiendas y desde Leknes llegas a cualquier lugar de interés en una hora. A pesar de la buena ubicación es un sitio tranquilo y de fácil acceso. El apartamento es muy moderno, bonito y cómodo y está bien cuidado. Y el anfitrión te da independencia. Por poner un mínimo pero, se quedan un poco cortos en detalles como gel (no había), café y otros accesorios de cocina que suele haber en otros alojamientos. En todo caso volvería con los ojos cerrados.

Appartement agréable dans lieu calme. Cuisine bien aménagée. Laddawan est très sympathique. Literie confortable même si le lit est un peu étroit. Si nous revenons à Solvaer, nous reviendrons chez Laddawan. Nous avons aussi adoré l'île authentique de Skrova.

We came to Norway to see how we like it. My wife and I have travel 11 months per year, and we started this almost 7 years ago. We enjoy warmth and hospitality of tentsl places of Croatia, Portugal or Greece. Our impressions here in Norway has not been great at all. However, Hege is an Exception. She's the only one who was generous and hospitable. If we came here again, she would be the one to contact. Others were so stingy that we decided not to return. Very lovely country, but rental owners' class does not match the magnificence of the spectacular land. Hege's place is clean, very well furnished, I could say exceptionally well. She offers lots of extras. She works hard for good reviews, which translates into better business opportunities. Other places similarly rated do not come even close. I think people are afraid to voice their true feelings so they give all star ratings to mediocre establishments. Hege, thank you and good luck!

A Anne Lise é uma anfitrião maravilhosa, responsiva e disponível. Ajudou-nos com todas as informações que necessitamos. Nusfjord é um paraíso na terra. Não poderia recomendar mais a estadia em Nusfjord e no alojamento da Anne Lise. Tínhamos tudo o necessário para uma estadia confortável, sentimo-nos em casa. O facto de ter lugar de estacionamento privado à porta é incrível. A população local em Nusfjord é muito simpática e prestável. A padaria/bakeri é maravilhosa, a melhor das Lofoten. Uma delícia! Tivemos ainda a sorte de ser visitados por um simpático casal de coelhos, que saltitavam contentamente pela floresta atrás da casa. Tudo é maravilhoso ali! Recomendo totalmente. Obrigada, Anne Lise!

Lofoottien nähtävyyksien kannalta erittäin hyvä, keskeinen, sijainti. Rauhallinen paikka mutta kuitenkin lyhyen automatkan päässä Leknesin palveluista. Huoneisto oli siisti ja sisälsi meille tarvittavat varusteet. Sennesvikin maisemissa oli mukava herätä.

Très bel Airbnb. Les hôtes étaient réactifs et à l’écoute. Ils étaient très serviable également. Concernant le logement, il était très bien équipé, du salon à la chambre à coucher. Mes amis et moi avons apprécier l’expérience au sein du logement de Christine et Tor. On le recommande vivement pour toute personne visitent les Lofoten.

Félicitations pour l'aménagement ! Nous avons adoré séjourner dans cet appartement. Très bien situé pour visiter Les Lofoten, à proximité de magasins pour faire des courses. Central and convenient location. The apartment is very clean and check in was easy. The charger for our EV made charging our car easy and we never had to stop to charge it while out during the day.

Die Unterkunft befindet sich ausserhalb von Svolvær. Mit dem Auto aber innerhalb von wenigen Minuten erreichbar. Die Lage ist ruhig und befindet sich angrenzend an einen Wald und See. Die Wohnung ist mit viel Liebe eingerichtet und man fühlt sich gleich sehr wohl. Bei der Ankunft wurden wir gleich durch Peder und seiner Katze begrüsst. Er nahm sich die Zeit, um uns alles zu zeigen und zu erklären. Zur Wohnung gehört auch eine Terrasse, inkl. Grill. Top, wir würden diese Wohnung auf jeden Fall erneut buchen.

The apartment was super clean, we had all we need, the location is perfect! The host was super friendly, helped us to get to the accommodation from the ferry as there was no bus! Loved all the details! We had a great stay!

Vi havde fornøjelsen af at bo 8 dage over påsken i Rogers lejlighed i Ballstad. Vi er rejst hjem utrolig glade og tilfredse. Lejligheden ligger skønt og centralt med gåafstand til alt ligefra indkøb til vandreruter til busstoppested. Indtjekning gik super nemt og uden problemer. Lejligheden levede helt op til billederne. Sengen og dyner var gode. Badeværelset havde en god bruser og var rent og nydeligt. Køkkenet manglede intet og stuen indbød til hygge. Udenfor var der bord og bænk vi spiste frokost ved og nød udsigten. Det var en stor luksus, at vi ikke skulle gøre hovedrent, men blot lægge håndklæderne i vasketøjskurven. Det siger vi tak for. Alt i alt følte vi os utrolig hjemme, og kunne sagtens havde taget en uge mere. Vi vil anbefale stedet og Roger som vært til alle som skulle ønske at besøge Ballstad. Roger var en fantastisk vært som hjalp os med at komme hjem da ingen busser kørte fra Ballstad. 100% et besøg værd, og et sted vi ønsker at komme tilbage til.

Practical and cosy stay in Henningsvær! Easy to find and self-check-in to. Compact yet well-designed apartment in a peaceful private area. The place was modern, sparkling clean, and had everything we needed for our short stay driving around in Lofoten (parking right outside, kitchen with dish washer and bathroom with laundry machine were especially appreciated). Would stay again and recommend to everyone. The host was also very kind, helpful and fast to respond when we booked at short notice. Thanks!
