Our quaint little River House rests on the beautifully natural marsh grass banks of the Whale Branch River in a quiet rural neighborhood. It is located only 9 miles from Historic Downtown Beaufort and 15 miles from Parris Island Marine Corps Recruit Depot. Hunting Island State Park's sandy beaches, nature tails, and lighthouse tours are a scenic 40 minute drive away. You can swim, fish, kayak or go boating right from the dock in our own back yard. When you arrive; you won't want to leave!

The Pond House at Salkehatchie Farms

The Pond House is a secluded getaway in the woods with double glass doors throughout the house so you can enjoy nature, even while you are inside. It sits at the end of the winding drive through dogwoods in the spring, green trees in summer and colored leaves in autumn. There is a small pond on the edge of the property. Outdoor patios are a wonderful place to breathe in the early morning air, watch a sunset, or grill. There is plenty of room for walks and the property is yours to explore.

Take it easy at this cozy, ( 400 sq ft main living space) unique and tranquil getaway. The 12' x 10' screen porch is lovely to watch the sunrise and sunsets. Bathroom floor has heat for the chilly weather, and you have a heated towel rack. Apartment has everything you would need for a short or long term stay. It is updated, clean, and ready for you to sit back and relax Close to all Aiken horse venues. Very safe with private road, automatic gate, and key pad lock. Sorry, no pets allowed.

Wildlife Cabin

Wildlife Cabin is set in a woodsy setting and was built as extra bedroom for our boys. Originally the cabin had a cute little porch on the front of it, but for privacy and convenience to our guests, we closed in the porch and made it into a small kitchenette. We call it Wildlife Cabin, not because you see so much wildlife. Our boys all liked to hunt, & one tried his hand at preserving the furs, so you will find a collection of wildlife in the cabin. Please be careful with them!

Lazy Dog Acres Mini Suite

Relax by one of the 2 ponds with water features or on the patio. Take a walk around the pond with Isaac or Isabella (Great Danes)as your guide on our 13 acres. Sorry no pets allowed! There is a a micro, fridge & coffee mkr in ur suite. Cook your meal in our shared kitchen. All linens are sanitized w/ high temp sanitizing wash. You have your own private entrance so come and go as you please! Airbnb designated parking. I live on the 2nd floor should u need assistance !

Ellzey Place is a peaceful spot where you can relax and unwind. Enjoy having a cup of coffee on the deck facing a spacious private back yard. There are lots of azaleas that bloom in season and pines swaying in the breeze. It is a charming apartment attached to the owner's house but has a private deck and entrance. It has been newly remodeled and delightfully decorated.
