The Studio is well-equipped, practical and very comfortable (although it’s worth mentioning that the ‘ladder-style’ staircase to the sleeping platform may be tricky to negotiate for older or less mobile people). We really enjoyed our stay there, and found that it was perfectly placed to explore the whole of North and South Uist. Check-in and check-out were straightforward, Maggie was friendly and helpful, and everything was clean and nicely organised. Highly recommended, and if we do come back to the islands we would definitely consider staying there again.

The place is amazing! It was super clean, warm and alexactly as described. Kelley and her family were very friendly and helpful. the nature around is beautiful and we could see the seals very near the pod. Totally recommended.

Our second visit to Mora certainly lived up to our expectations. Mora is very well equipped with everything you will need for your stay and is spotlessly clean for your arrival. We can highly recommend Mora to ayone looking for accommodation in our beautiful island. Thank you, again, Morag. Jonathan was an excellent host. Communication around the booking was clear and it was easy to find the bothy and check in. Situated in Stockinish, a small fishing village on the south of the island, and nestled between hilly rocks, we felt completely isolated (only seeing a couple of people for the whole trip duration) and lucky to have such an amazing landscape virtually to ourselves. The road to the bothy was easily accessible from the main road, and is only a short distance from lovely beaches and amenities in Tarbert. The bothy did not disappoint. Cozy and beautifully decorated, it was well heated and was the perfect place to retreat to after a day exploring the island. I would really recommend staying here, especially in the offseason!
