Monthly Rentals in Lochboisdale

As others have said, this chalet is special! In particular, its location, but also its comfort. If you love peace and quiet, nature and wildlife, you will love it here. Well placed for exploring South Uist, Eriskay and Benbecula, but if the weather isn't good, staying in the chalet looking out of the windows at the birds and seals is great too. Otters didn't appear for us, but they are regularly seen here too. Highly recommended and we would love to return.

A great small cabin for 2 people and ideal for 1. Kitchen has basic needs. Kitchen table has an amazing view of the landscape surrounding the cabin. Very peaceful. You can also sit outside and enjoy the same view and listen to the birds. Bathroom is small but workable with a full shower and lots of hot water. Be careful of the glass shelf by the mirror; I hit the corner twice with my shoulder. Sleeping quarters is great for 1 or 2 people with space for luggage. Paul is just next door and very responsive to your needs. I would certainly return.

10 stars from me. The view from the windows alone is worth every penny - honestly feels like you are on a boat. Just a cosy one with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Super clean, attractive decor, washing machine (bonus!) and the well-stocked friendly Co-op right next door. Just a note for those driving, if you need fuel do not rely on the Gulf in Lochboisdale if you have a non-UK-issued Visa card. It would not take my card - should have filled up on North Uist just to have a bit more piece of mind and not have to restrict little adventures up side roads. A wonderful seal and (if you are lucky) otter spot is north side of Loch Eynort at the end of the road (near the woodlands). I went all three days of my stay and enjoyed zero people and many seals.
