Straid House Bed and Breakfast

TaylorRating, 5 stars7 months ago
We loved our stay at Sarah’s. I truly wish we booked more than one night there! She was so kind and helpful, we felt right at home. Our room was cozy and had everything we could possibly need. The breakfast was delicious and had a huge selection! This was the best night’s sleep I’ve had so far in our trip through Scotland. Thank you again Sarah! We’ll be sure to recommend to our friends and family in Canada.

Crowlin, Vistas of sea and mountains

PaulRating, 5 stars7 months ago
Caroline was a lovely host. The accommodation was perfect for our stay on Skye as it is located at the main route to Portree and surroundings! One thing you should pay attention to though is the heating. We tried to pre heat for the day but unfortunately it didn’t. Can get a bit cold now here in autumn. All in all a lovely accommodation and a wonderful host. Can totally recommend.

The pod itself is exactly as described, very clean, comfortable and has everything you need, the location is so peaceful and beautiful, a very relaxing place to stay, and Michelle was a fantastic host! Very understanding when we couldn't get there until late at night, was great at replying to messages and is really friendly and easy to chat to. 6 Camuslusta

NathanRating, 5 stars2 days ago
Alexandrina was the kindest host we had during our trip. She was caring and also always on top of everything we needed. As she mentioned in the listing, the way down to her place is steep, but we had a fairly big car and made it easily down there. The place is small but well designed, and having a sunset on the ocean every evening while you sit by the fire was exceptional. Would recommend to anyone.

We used Kenny’s place as our base camp during the Loch Ness marathon 2024 and really enjoyed the quiet surroundings and proximity to the city. I know I’ll be back in Inverness and Kenny’s place I will surely short list 😄

The Wee Treat. Self contained studio in Killin

HollieRating, 5 starstoday
The Wee Treat was exactly that! Me and my partner had a lovely time here. Frances and Jay were very responsive and friendly. We loved how clean and cosy the studio was and were very pleasantly surprised with the kind essentials bought for us. The kitchen is well equipped with basic cooking and seasonings too which was excellent, we really did not need to worry about bringing anything with us. The village has everything you’d need, a shop, cute restaurants and food stops. We had some of the szechwan noodles from the secret pizza company on Jay’s recommendation and it did not disappoint! The hot tub was very clean, well kept and undercover - perfect for the rainy days we had. I’d certainly return and recommend the Wee Treat! 5 ⭐️

The Old Smithy Cottage

KentonRating, 5 stars6 months ago
The Smithy Cottage was the perfect place to hold up for a stay near Connel or Oban. The Cottage doesn’t do itself justice by looking at the pictures, it is actually much better laid out and more spacious than you would think. The place was immaculately clean and the accommodations were quite comfortable. The only thing that you may have to be aware of is the road noise can be higher than most places. They accommodate with earplugs if you are a light sleeper. However, my wife and I had no issues with the noise and we slept quite comfortably! The place has a spacious kitchen, and a great look out over the water. We so greatly enjoyed our stay. Our only regret: we didn’t stay longer!
A spacious garden area is showcased, featuring neatly arranged flower beds and a gravel pathway. In the background, a green fence encloses a lawn equipped with play structures. A table stands in the foreground, providing space for outdoor activities.

100% recommend this flat, it is a fantastic place to stay. It is private, immaculate and equipped to a high standard. Everything was thoughtfully provided with lots of little extras that make all the difference and give it a homely feel. Finding the flat and parking were easy. The location is great - a fairly short walk into Falkirk. Jean was a great host, very responsive and thoughtful. Get booked in, you won’t be disappointed :D

Large Room in Trendy Finnieston Hydro

WilliamRating, 5 stars5 days ago
Great townhouse in the western side of Glasgow. Train station close by and walkable to the park, museum, university, and much more. Very clean. Quite spacious. Nicely equipped kitchen. My only issues were that I did not know this was a basement level room until after I booked and paid. Also, numerous rooms but only 2 bathrooms. Last morning there were 11 of us using 2 bathrooms.
