Monthly Rentals in Loch Hope

We felt great in Joan's house. It's a very comfortable space with all the amenities you need. The location is idyllic, on the banks of Loch, in an isolated and peaceful location. But 20 minutes from Durness, with sights and shops.

The Wallaby’s was a comfortable homely place to stay. It was lovely and cosy for our arrival which was great as the weather has turned and it was cold and rainy. Beds were super comfy and there was plenty of space to relax for our family of 5. Kitchen well equipped and host provides plenty dishwasher and laundry tablets which is helpful. Perfectly located for exploring the beach and caves. Shame the local hotel wasn’t quite open for the season yet. But took a breathtaking drive to Tongue for Sunday lunch which was worth the 50 min drive.

It was very nice to stay in Carbreck house. For us, Carbreck was the welcome gentle change after a day outside in the rugged nature. It was cozy. The entourage, Christmas decorations😍, and carefully decorated spaces automatically provided a warm welcome. Gillie put a scoop on top of that with her gift. A beautiful flower wreath! We hope to come back to the green cottage again

We had a fantastic 3 days here. Check in literally couldnt have been easier. We were given very clear instructions (with photos) of how to get to the accommodation as well. There was lots of space both inside and outside of the accommodation with the most amazing views. The seating outside (2 different choices) were fantastic. The egg chairs specifically! And the coloured lights at night in the outside area were a very nice touch. We were stumped a little with trying to find the cutlery but Graeme responded to our message within a matter of...I'm going to say seconds instead of minutes. It turns out there is a large cutlerly drawer above where the pans were kept. Graeme even messaged us one evening to go outside to see the Northern Lights!! We would highly recommend.
