The Granary Cottage @ Bromwich Park Farm, Oswestry

StephanieRating, 5 stars2 months ago
We loved our stay so much that we can't wait to come back! The place was pristine, beautifully decorated with so much character, surrounded by beauty, perfectly stocked, and so comfortable! We felt so peaceful in this cozy stay. Nearby Oswestry was a cute little town with lots of food options. We greatly appreciated the helpful binder of recommendations and information left by the hosts. Perhaps the best part was cuddling with Rocky, one of the cats! We are excited to escape the bustle of London to stay in this serene place again in the future!
A charming barn conversion is set amidst lush greenery, featuring a red brick exterior and a slate roof. Large glass doors open to a spacious patio area with outdoor seating, providing a welcoming entry point surrounded by a fenced yard.

The Piggery at Maesbrook

FionaRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
The Piggery far exceeded our expectations and we have returned home feeling refreshed and relaxed from our break here. The setting is incredibly peaceful with stunning views over the countryside and the only sound to be heard is birdsong. The interior is spacious, comfortable and equipped with everything you could need for a relaxing break and spotlessly clean. A lot of time and thought has gone into making this a relaxing bolthole from the hustle and bustle of city life yet with all the modern conveniences that make life easier. The welcome treats left by Liz and Alison were an unexpected surprise and thoroughly enjoyed by us. A particular bonus for us travelling with elderly parents was how suitable it is for those with restricted mobility due to there being no steps and both showers being walk in at the same level as the bathroom floor. The hosts are welcoming and very responsive to messages and solving minor issues such as a problem working the wifi. I highly recommend a stay here.

Red House Cottage (self catering cottage)

ScotRating, 5 stars1 day ago
Jayne’ Cottage Stay Absolutely excellent! From start to finish, our stay at Jane’s cottage was flawless. The location is perfect—tucked away in a quiet village with everything you could need nearby, including two great local pubs with fantastic food and handy shop amenities. The cottage itself was exceptional: spotlessly clean, tidy, and equipped with everything you could possibly think of. The two generously sized bedrooms each had their own en-suites and huge TVs, making it incredibly comfortable and relaxing. Jayne was a truly excellent host—thoughtful, welcoming, and accommodating. She even let us use her garage to store our motorbikes during our weekend stay, which was above and beyond. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. Peaceful, well-appointed, and hosted with genuine care. We’ll definitely be returning!
A serene landscape is depicted, featuring a brown horse grazing peacefully in a green field. In the background, the static caravan is visible alongside trees and fencing, with hills softly rising beyond, under a partly cloudy blue sky.

Rural Retreat amongst scenic Tanat Valley

IvanaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
This was my second stay at the caravan and once again, it didn’t disappoint! It has everything you need for a comfortable short break, all set in beautiful natural surroundings. The living room area is surprisingly spacious and cosy - perfect for relaxing in the evenings. There’s also a lovely bench outside that’s great for soaking up the sunshine in summer. The host was very welcoming and allowed us a later checkout which gave us a bit more time to enjoy the peaceful setting. Highly recommend and would/ will happily return again! Thank you, Suzanne.

Oakleigh

HannahRating, 5 stars3 months ago
Really nice place to stay. Very difficult to get a round without a car. Could not figure out how to lock the door for a long time (you pull the handle upwards) and there were no instructions for this. Heat also turns off overnight unless you alter the settings. Otherwise very pleasant stay very clean comfortable place.
