The Nest At Walnut Tree Farm

KayRating, 5 stars2 days ago
We had a wonderful stay in The Nest. Wendy and Steve went over and above what we expected. Directions to find the property were spot on and easy to follow. She even gave me her phone number and told me to ring her if we got lost, which we did not get lost as the instructions were so good. Parking just outside the property. The property is self contained with a double bedroom, bathroom with a large shower and fridge, kettle and microwave at the top of the stairs. Utilising very well this area at the top of the stairs. Wendy even left us milk, which was great. We stayed there as we had a wedding to go to in Hereford and Wendy suggested that Steve could take us and pick us up so we could have a drink. So we took them up on the offer and thought that was wonderful of them. The views from the windows over the farm animals was lovely. We would not hesitate to stay with them again and cannot thank their hospitality enough. Wonderful hosts and 10/10 for them and this wonderful property.

Skirrid Studio Stay near the Welsh beacons

JaiRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Just magical. Helen's place is extremely cosy, tastefully designed, really well located. Surrounding walks are truly stunning. Wildflowers, babbling brooks, hills. Cosy pub and village shop conveniently located. Helen is one of those hosts that is completely steeped in their local (reflected in her beautiful art). Always went above and beyond. Can't finish this review without mentioning the two cutest canines, Jasper and Minnie. It was amazing to be able to take Jasper for a walk - such a good dog! Don't think twice! It was a complete reset for us city dwellers and though we rarely go back to an AirBnB, we are strongly considering it this time round!

Lower Lodge Gatehouse at Kentchurch, Dog Friendly

PaulRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Six of us stayed in the Lodge and we could not have wished for anything better. Three double rooms, all en-suite. Lovely quirky place, mixing old with new, very tastily done. The lodge was immaculate and spotlessly clean. Helen the housekeeper made contact via txt nearly every day to ensure everything was ok and we did not have any problems, which was a nice touch. Stairs to lounge and kitchen are steep, so if using stairs is a problem, then lower lodge is not for you. We were a party in our sixties and seventies and had no problem, but they are steep. Great surroundings and a lovely little pub that does food within easy walking distance. Can't recommend it enough and we will be going back

Characterful Grade II listed 3 bed cottage

JohnRating, 5 stars6 days ago
We had a wonderful time in this beautiful house all set in the lovely village of Grosmont. The Steps is very well equipped and extremely comfortable. It is situated right in the village and aptly named as it is literally steps away from the village grocery shop, the splendid Angel Pub which serves excellent ales and tasty food, the beautiful St Nicholas Church and to the rear of The Steps garden the lovely Norman Grosmont Castle. The many countryside walks from this property are the added bonus and the views are idyllic.

Shepherd's Hut at High Gardens

KellyRating, 5 stars3 days ago
An incredibly relaxing and comfortable weekend stay, whilst we forged pointy things at The Oldfield Forge, highlighted by Mark and Teresa's superb hospitality. The hut and kitchen/bathroom building feature the best facilities with an outstanding attention to detail that serve to show the huge amount of love and thought built into everh nook and cranny. Great views and walks in the amazing natural surroundings too. Thank you both for making our 25th wedding anniversary that extra bit more special. Will definitely stay here again.
