Cottage vacation rentals in Llangollen

What a beautiful spot! I really needed a “break from it all” and this cottage had it all. Clean, warm, cosy in an absolutely stunning location. Surrounded by green fields and trees, animals, lakes and beautiful gardens. The hot tub was just Devine, especially at night when the fairy lights came on. I’ve never felt so toasty- the underfloor heating was so effective, especially as we had a cold weekend weatherwise. Welshpool is a lovely town to visit and the local waterfalls are stunning. We had a great walk around Lake Vrynwy and the Giants Hand is a must see. Lovely to see the farm animals, and the added bonus was a secure paddock for the dogs to run in. Very nice place to stay, very clean and easy to find and everything was as they said they were and would definitely stay again.

We found the Lodge cottage to be ideal for our holiday. It was a peaceful location with great views from upstairs windows. the cottage was spotless when we arrived and very well equipped. it was nice to find tea and coffee and ample towels supplied. the hot tub was a treat a couple of times during our stay. Other nice touches were the books and games, and the basket of leaflets to suggest places to visit. We would highly recommend this for any family to stay in.

My partner and I had the best couple of nights away at Ash Bank. Great location, with only a short and cheap uber ride into the centre. The house was perfect, interior was incredible and Vanessa provided all the added extra touches to make it so homey. The hot tub in the garden is bonus too! Vanessa is a PERFECT host, fantastic communication and super thoughtful leaving a card and bottles for our anniversary. We will definitely be coming back to stay and making it a regular thing!

Absolute perfection! It was exactly as described and the view was gorgeous. Andrew even helping with a flat tyre while we were there so the extra help was greatly appreciated

Absolutely beautiful cottage, the river was just lovely along with the views. Rooms were also very nice. We needed some help with the hot tub and Angela was very attentive and helped us as soon as we needed her :) Plenty of games provided and restaurant recommendations etc. Overall a lovely weekend would definitely recommend! <3

Stayed a week at Ffion’s place and had a great stay. Cottage is really lovely and a home away from home, hot tub was great for relaxing after long walks! Felt very private, was very quiet and perfect place to relax. Location was really good, close to Conwy and Betws y Coed.

We recently stayed here on a Mountain Biking trip to Llandegla. Very nice, peaceful and scenic place to stay, clean and tidy and the hosts a very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend and return.

It was a beautiful cosy barn with everything you needed. We were able to do a gorgeous and peaceful 8 mile walk (plus a lake swim) without seeing another person - highly recommended.

We had the most amazing few days at Kate’s place. It was absolutely beautiful and they were wonderful hosts. Nothing was too much trouble. We would absolutely return and will one day.

We spent three lovely nights in Glyndwr Barn. The barn has been sympathetically restored and allows the history of the timber and stone building to be the star of the show. The setting is beautiful with uninterrupted cascading views of the verdent Welsh hills. It's very tranquil and a great place to sit outside and listen to the birds and take in the majesty off beautiful Wales. The barn was very clean any welcoming. Local eggs, milk, butter and Welsh cakes and treats were much appreciated. There is plenty of space to spread out and relax. It's truly a rural idyll but close enough to the A5 to get you to all the breathtaking beauty and bounty of North Wales.

This little hideaway is just breathtaking. I could’ve watched the birds and listened to the water in the garden for days and days. The garden is spectacular and the standard of finish throughout the whole space is just exceptional. I wish I had such a brilliant eye for interiors! Nicola was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout too, many thanks and will be back again you can be sure!

The cottage is just beautiful and Pete and Julie were very kind hosts. We really enjoyed our stay and our kids loved the horses. We would definitely recommend this place.

Excellent accommodation, exactly as described. Two well appointed bedrooms with powerful hot showers. We really appreciated the toys, tractor and box of Lego which kept our grandson busy for quite a few hours. Very welcoming hosts, and two lovely labradors who came to say hello. Only a short drive to Loggerheads Country Park for a great walk with lovely scenery.

we loved our stay here this weekend! the home is beautiful and peaceful so was just what we wanted! there’s a pub down the road about 20 minutes walk too that we popped into our first night but we much preferred being in the cottage by the fire! i’d recommend anyone staying here - it was was a perfect weekend thank you!

Martin & Helen are fabulous hosts. They responded quickly to any messages sent and have been welcoming and friendly. We stayed at their stunning airbnb for 4 nights and had a fantastic time. The views are absolutely stunning, they include The Great Orme, Little Orme, Sea views and Llandudno town. The outside area was perfect! Not overlooked and very peaceful. Accommodation was spotlessly clean, very comfy bed and the shower was amazing! The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed. My friend and I are keen walkers and explored The Great Orme on the first day. This is doable from the accommodation if you have relatively good fitness. Town centre is approximately a 40 minute walk away but did see buses on the main road. The Penrhyn Arms is a 15 minute walk away and served wood-fired pizza in a great beer garden. We couldn't pass up the opportunity to do The Little Orme as it's very close by. Overall a fantastic place which we will surely return to. Thank you, Vicky & Alison

We had a lovely stay in this beautiful cottage, easy walking distance to shops & restaurants & everything provided for a home from home that made our few days relaxing. Stunning scenery & walks with plenty of places to visit. Would definitely recommend a stay to friends.

From start to finish, such a fabulous stay. Communication was excellent and the owners are helpful and interactive and also felt i had my privacy. The house is stunning and incredibly comfortable in every way. Has everything you need in the kitchen too. Eating my breakfast watching the blue tits nesting and listening to bird singing every morning was a joy I genuinely didnt want to leave i felt so relaxed and id definitely like to return and stay again . Such a beautiful 3 bed cottage in a charming and peaceful location only 5 mins drive into Llangollen. Plenty of room for a family of 5. We thought the cottage looked better in real life than in the photos - clean and bright with lots of homely touches - record player in living room, lots of places to sit outside and blankets everywhere to cosy up with. We stayed in the are for a wedding but wished we were staying longer as there was more to do in the area than we thought. We did some walks into Llangollen via the back lanes - which took about 30 mins. Lots of lovely cafes, pubs and walks from there also. We will be back.

Beautiful cottage with stunning views. Sitting in the garden by the river was so relaxing. The cottage is well equipped, spotlessly clean and comfortable. Hannah is a great host with great communication throughout the booking process and for the stay. I highly recommended the cottage for anyone wanting a peaceful getaway.

The cottage is really cosy and comfortable with everything provided. The location is really peaceful with a lake nearby. We were given clear instructions on how to find the property with a very easy check in. would definitely recommend.
