What a lovely cottage. So much character! We loved having the log fire to enjoy with our children. The cottage had everything we needed, the location was great, helpful parking and Helen was really helpful at check in.

Had an amazing weekend stay at Phoebe’s place. It was a great location for our visit to Shropshire Hills and our walk around the Stiperstones. Bishops Castle was a lovely place to get dinner and was a short drive away. I’ll admit the animals (cockerels/ guinea fowl) did wake me up early in the morning but that was to be expected. Phoebe was a great host

We had an incredible stay in the cottage! It is really remote so it was a perfect little weekend escape. We absolutely loved the place, the owner was so lovely and helpful. All the animals around were an amazing surprise (I have never seen lambs as friendly!). We'd recommend to anyone looking for a stay in the area, especially in a bigger group (although be warned there is just one shower, we shared between 7 so our mornings were a little lengthy but that's the nature of an old cottage!). We will definitely be coming back!

A beautiful little hideaway surrounded by nature. Very good nights sleep and the cabin is lovely and warm when the stove is lit. Highly recommend.

We had such a lovely stay at this beautiful cottage! From the moment we arrived, the host made us feel incredibly welcome—so friendly, warm, and helpful throughout our visit. The cottage itself was absolutely stunning—spotlessly clean, spacious, and full of charm. Everything was exactly as described, if not better, and you can tell a lot of care has gone into maintaining both the home and the surrounding area. The grounds were just as impressive, with peaceful walks up quiet country lanes right on the doorstep. It was the perfect place to unwind, relax, and enjoy nature. Overall, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful countryside escape with a wonderful host!

Another lovley stay at Darren and Lindsay's place. This time it was the cabin which is my favourite. Extremely private, fabulous views. Place was exceptionally clean with everything you need. Hot tub literally just outside sliding doors. Gorgeous deep bath and fab shower. Grateful for bottle of wine too 😌 100% will stay again

We had a great stay here over the Easter weekend. John and Paul have put a lot of thought and care into restoring the cottage and we especially enjoyed looking at the before and after photos! Amazing accommodation and fantastic hiking and exploring in the local area. Definitely recommended!
