Truly amazing hosts. We had to book last minute and the hosts accommodated us on the same day with our 2 children. The stone house was beautiful and the village and surroundings delightful. The hosts shared with us very useful tips for things to do and see around. We hope to be back and highly recommend the place.

Amazing newly built house, clean, spacious for four persons. The hosts were polite and welcoming as we arrived after midnight and they waited for us. Very warm people, Lola even brought us fresh eggs in the morning .Beautiful surroundings, with trees, plants and vegetables. We will definitely return next year. Thank you Nikos and Lola for everything!

We booked Mello House for our honeymoon, and we’re so pleased we did. The house is quite literally a hidden gem down a dirt track - perfect location for a romantic stay in a beautiful part of the world. The house is incredibly peaceful and private, but with all the amenities you’d expect of a luxury villa. We particularly loved the pool with the swim jet, and the giant bath in the bedroom. The hosts, Jude and Andreas, were fantastic from start to finish. Checkin was easy (and early!), and they provided continual support & really helpful recommendations throughout. The surrounding area has all the thing you’d need within 5 minute drive. Chania is about a 40 minute car journey - but it was very easy to arrange taxis both there and back if you’re looking for a night out. If you’re thinking of booking a hotel over Mello House, there’s absolutely no question that the latter is better in every way, and really excellent value for money for what you get. We will be back!
