Revamped Penthouse with Panoramic View Terrace

Gaze out across the city from this tastefully designed home. The residence features stark whites, light wood flooring throughout, chic furnishings, an open-plan layout living area, and stairs up to the loft bedroom. The apartment building does not have an elevator. This lovely duplex is located on the third floor of a newly renovated century-old traditional Lisbon apartment building. The bottom floor of the apartment has two bedrooms (one of which has a lovely balcony), a bathroom and open kitchen and living room. The top floor has a second bathroom, living room (that can be used as a 3rd bedroom) with sofa bed and access to the apartment's pièce de résistance, its rooftop terrace. There is air conditioning in every room so that you can enjoy your stay year-round, without fear of the weather. All throughout the apartment, there is plenty of natural light and large double-paned windows that provide picturesque views of the city below. The kitchen is equipped with brand new appliances, including stove, oven, microwave oven, dish washer, refrigerator/freezer combo, toaster, coffee maker, kettle, as well as all the pots and pans, utensils, silverware and plates for your meals. Additionally, the apartment has a washer, iron and ironing board. We provide fresh towels and bed linen, so there is no need to bring your own. In the living room area, sit back and relax on the comfortable sofa and enjoy the large-screen 42 inch LED television, with cable. Each of the bathrooms features a spacious walk-in shower with large rainfall shower head. A baby crib and highchair are available upon request. Guests have access to the entire apartment and are encouraged to use the cable TV, 100 Mbps Internet with wireless access and especially, the rooftop terrace. We hope that you fall in love with our beloved city and we're happy to answer any questions you may have in advance of your stay to help you plan your trip. A host will be present to greet you and give you a tour of the apartment when you arrive. The apartment is located in the traditional neighborhood of Arroios and just off the Arroios Market. The local bakeries, cafés, restaurants, and shops of Rua Morais Soares are all very close by, while Largo do Intendente, is a 10 minute walk away. The Arroios subway station (green line) is a short 5 minute walk from the apartment, whereas both the Alameda subway station (red line) and Anjos subway station (green line) are each a single hop away (or each a mere 750m walking distance) from the apartment. Besides the subway, there are plenty of bus stops nearby that provide transportation to various parts of Lisbon. The building does not have an elevator, so please be prepared to make the climb to the 3rd floor.

The amazing and spacious (120 sqm) apartment is on the 2nd floor (with elevator) of an entirely renovated traditional Lisbon building, and is sun facing throughout the day. It is elegantly decorated, fully furnished and equipped with all the mod-cons. Open the windows, enjoy the balcony, take a rest on the couch, enjoy the views, use the internet, enjoy a drink or read a book, cook and do everything you like and you normally do in your own home, but in the fantastic city of Lisbon! The apartment offers 2 double bedrooms, both with ensuite bathroom, a spacious living and dining room with a study area and a sofa that can be turned into an extra bed; one toilet; a kitchen fully equipped with washing machine, dry machine, microwaves, fridge, coffee machine, dishwasher; TV and free wifi throughout the house. We really enjoyed our stay at the apartment. Ana made arrangements for us to be picked up at the airport, and our departure to the train station. She and Paulina kept in contact through our stay offering to make any arrangements. The beds were very comfortable, the apartment was just like the pictures. No noise from neighbors or the street. The location was perfect with a Tram 28 stop across the street, coffee shop on the corner and an easy walk to restaurants. The only challenge is the unit is on the third floor with no lift. But since we went out in the morning and didn't return until the evening, it was no big deal. And this is no different than the streets of Lisbon..you are either climbing or walking down hills. We should definitely stay on our next trip.

Not only was he quick to confirm, but I could stay without having to check out, and back into the apartment which made for the smoothest extension. This is by far the best place I’ve stayed at in Lisbon, and I’ve been to a few due to work over the past year.

The house is very cozy and the host very helpful: he promptly answered what we need. The only adjustment to be made is with respect to the location he sent me: GPS recognizes it as the location of arrival about 500m earlier. As we arrived at night, it was very difficult to find the house, but I called André who helped me quickly.

First, the condo was as described. Better yet, it was spotless. The furniture and beds were very comfortable, which is important at the end of a long day exploring Lisbon and the surrounding countryside. Next, they provided great recommendations on places to eat. I do have one recommendation, though, a small welcome basket of goodies (coffee pods, snacks, etc.) would make a nice bonus after traveling. Not a big deal, just a thought. Finally, I was traveling with my 85 year-old mother who uses a cane to walk. Unfortunately, I didn't realize that the elevator is located 12 steps up from the lobby. Additionally, the elevator only travels mid-floor to mid-floor, so she'd either still have another 10 steps up or down to the unit. In the end, she was a champ and navigated the steps to/from the first floor each day. This doesn't detract from the unit, just something to keep in mind if you're traveling with someone like my mother. All-in-all this is a great place, and I'd stay here again.

paid parking was confusing. located among great restaurants. catmandu was amazing. lots of people walking around. an eclectic neighborhood but felt very safe. views were amazing. quiet bldg amongst the hustle and bustle of Lisbon.

although this is not the most central location, there were lots of delicious places to eat nearby, walking into the heart of lisbon was no problem, and beat of all, there was a place to park our car. street parking in lisbon is not for the faint of heart and isn't cheap so this was huge for us. the apartment is very cozy and comfortable with roll down shades of the windows and a clothesline on the balcony. there was an issue with the shower when we arrived but the host was very sweet and responsive and came early the next day to fix it. I was nervous because the mattresses seemed thin, but we slept like babies and was comfortable during the night. I appreciated how many pillows were available and the soaps left for our use. there is a massive hill beside the building, but there is an elevator to bring you to the street behind so you don't have to walk it! I recommend staying here. you'll always be able to find your airbnb because it's entirely pink tile exterior!
