Melanie’s house was a really lovely place to stay . It was cosy and clean and well decorated . She had left a thoughtful welcome pack of bread and milk. The location was great with Highland coos as neighbours and a beach right in front of the house . We found loads of Groatie Buckies there ! Easy to find and easy to get to other parts of Orkney . 10 minutes from the St Margaret’s Hope ferry . I would definitely recommend this house !

Great place to stay to explore Orkney. The annexe to the house was well designed as a holiday let. We were a family of 3 and it was the perfect size, would be a bit of a squeeze for 4 adults. There was a lovely sunny outside space to sit and read or eat.

From the minute I arrived, i felt right at home and peaceful. Carol is an excellent host who welcomed me and explained how everything worked and made sure I knew she was there to help if needed. Beautiful walks from the property also. Very clean and excellent value.

Nice place, Great view across the bay, Great host, Place was very clean and tidy and would certainly recommend. Plenty of parking space. We certainly had a lovely week at this property.
