Paddle quietly between water lilies, past the beaver lodge – or stay on the deck with a coffee cup, a friend, or a book in the morning sun. Here you will find peace, birdsong and plenty of room for the little pleasures. Poor coverage (thankfully) – but Wi-Fi is available in case of need. 20 min to shops, cafes and city life, and 45 min to the zoo in Kristiansand. This is the perfect base to go around and experience, or just stay and breathe. It's your choice.

The cabin is located right by the water, two canoes are included and there is also a solid rowboat. The sauna located by the jetty can be booked if desired. Free parking about 150 meters from the cabin. Nice fish in the water, no need for a fishing license.

Southern house in a family-friendly neighborhood. Spacious house with screened patio both in front and behind the house, lake view and good sun conditions from early morning to late evening. The house is well suited for families with children. The house is child-friendly with toys and equipment. Playhouse and sandbox in the backyard and 50 meters from the fenced playground. Many nice beaches nearby. Two SUP boards are included in the rent, can be launched right below the house. Boat can be rented, for single days or the entire stay.

Extended/renovated cabin in a lovely spot in southern Norway. Must row over a small lake to get to the cabin, or walk through the forest (700 meters). Here you can swim, fish trout in the water or be lucky to see ospreys hovering over the water. There are eagles in the area. Simply a magical place on the waterfront. The sleeping areas have windows so you can look out into nature when you are in bed. Guarantee for relaxation! We are considering renting out to people of order some weekends of the year and some weeks in the summer.

You'll have a great time at this place. Right next to the salmon river Lygna. Next to the main road. Train station Snartemo nearby. Small private beach by the river. To the National Villakssenter-Kvåsfossen: 5 km, 5 min to drive by car. Kristiansand Zoo is less than 1 hour and 24 minutes away-perfect for family excursions. With only a 20-minute drive to Lyngdal and Sørlandsbadet, you have everything within easy reach. There are good fishing opportunities in the river in the area, with a valid fishing license.

A gem by the sea!

Welcome to us! Funkieshus from 2024, with large windows, lots of sun and a lovely view over the sea. Living room, dining area and kitchen in one room, 1 bathroom with shower and washing machine, 2 bedrooms with 2 beds each. Towels and beds are included in the price and beds are made on arrival. Parking inside the garage and in front of the garage door. There is a large terrace facing west, and paving stones around the house again at the entrance. Part of the outdoor area is still under renovation.

Hønsehus Nedre Snartemo Farm

You will spend the night in the immediate vicinity of Snartemobekken which is a tributary of the river Lygna where the salmon play. Nedre Snartemo is an old farm with a barn that is under restoration. On the farm there are traces of settlement from the pre-Roman Iron Age and all the way to our time. The famous Snartemo sword was found just 200 meters away - in other words, you live in the middle of history. Et godt utgangspunkt for å oppleve Sørlandet med kun ca. 45 min. kjøretur til Kristiansand, Mandal og Evje. Dette er stedet å mellomlande, men også stedet å feriere! Under 1 times kjøring til Dyreparken. 15 minutter til Mandalselva kjent for sitt laksefiske. Mange andre flotte reisemål i nærområdet.
