Dale was an excellent host. She was so helpful in every way and she had the cottage decorated so nice for Christmas. All the little details didn’t go unnoticed. She even had a beautiful fresh bouquet of Christmas flowers. There was a nice welcome basket with goodies for us, I thought that was so nice. Like I said the little details she did were so wonderful. Her cottage was perfect for what we needed. Lots to do but also so many places within the house to cozy up with a book. The cottage is so warm and cozy. I love how the cottage is decorated very Canadian. The beds were super comfortable and linens were so soft and warm. The view of the lake even though it was frozen was beautiful. Nice a quiet and secluded. We will definitely return to Dales cottage. Thank you so much Dale for our Christmas trip at your beautiful cottage. Highly recommend this cottage for any one looking for a fun, quiet family place to stay. Everything you need is there.

Such a beautifully and thoughtfully designed cabin and surrounding property. We loved the attention to details in all the spaces, including the use of European style windows and doors, it made us feel completely transported to another world, like we were staying at a cabin in Estonia! Amanda was so friendly and responsive when we had questions and provided so many great local recommendations to do in the area. Would recommend for anyone looking for an extra special stay and for people who appreciate well-designed spaces!

I had such a wonderful experience staying at this Airbnb! From the moment I arrived, everything was spotless and exactly as described, if not better. What truly made it special was the thoughtful touch from the host. I had mentioned that this trip was for my birthday, and to my surprise, she left me a couple of lovely gifts that made me feel so welcomed and celebrated. It really meant a lot and added such a personal, heartfelt touch to my stay. Communication was easy, check-in was seamless, and the space had everything I needed for a relaxing and comfortable getaway. I can’t recommend this place enough—it's clear that the host genuinely cares about her guests. I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in the area!

We loved celebrating our anniversary at Cara’s place! It was exactly as described and extremely cozy. The fire table and outdoor lounge area was well utilized, and it is a great spot to watch shows and movies on the projector! The area surrounding the property and the town of Port Sydney itself is absolutely breathtaking. Listening to the sound of the falls was calming and peaceful while enjoying a glass of wine on the bunkie patio. Overall an extremely pleasant experience! Thank you for making our time so special (and a thank you for the bottle of wine, a wonderful surprise 😎).
