In the beginning there was the forest: COLLIS HILL is surrounded by the dense forests of East Tyrol and offers the best view of the East Tyrolean mountains. A unique place to stay has been created on the grounds of a former farm: a place to meet in the mountains. Our Tichas – tiny houses in a triangular shape – for two to six people: flooded with light, minimalist and absolutely extraordinary. With a fully equipped kitchen and a view from the bed into the starry sky.

The Ederhof is a permaculture farm in the Großglockner area, Hohe Tauern National Park. A small alpine hut with an earth sauna and a wet biotope, located about 200m from the farmstead. The hut, with a view of the mountains and into the valley, is quaint and cozy in its simplicity. Natural materials give the living comfort a lovely warm character. With its restriction to the essentials, it provides the space for silence. The alpine hut can be booked all year round.

The whole house will be rented only for you and the owner doesn't live in the house. The House Waltraud is ideal for summer /winter vacation (only 5 minutes from Ski Center St. Jakob) with family and friends, as it can accommodate up to 19 people. There are 7 bedrooms some of them with kitchen. All rooms have private bathroom. The house is set in the midst of the Hohe Tauern National Park in Defereggental Valley at 1400 metres above sea level in East Tyrol.

The Obergasteigalm is a cozy, lovingly maintained jewel in the valley end of the Winkeltal: Volkzein hiking paradise. Beautiful days for two, with the family or Friends away from everyday stress without internet/phone. Cozy barbecue and chill evenings with fire bowl. If the cooking spoon is to rest, retreat to the cultivated Volkzeinerhütte. Warm shower and light available. In July, we cultivate our fields (are nearby). No fridge. [Not in winter]

Hausberger Alpine Lodge

100-year-old log cabin, which was demolished in the neighboring village in 2008 and rebuilt at our organic mountain farm. Particular care was taken in the use of natural building materials (reed, clay plaster, old wood). Traditional larch shingles serve as roofing. The house is heated by a large kitchen stove and a solar thermal system. The bathroom has underfloor heating. The cozy little house (75 m²) served as our residence for 10 years.
