Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Levy County

This is our second time staying at Sharon’s place. We visit Gainesville and Cedar Key and the location is perfect. The neighborhood is safe and quiet. Her home is so nicely decorated with personal touches of home. The beds are super comfortable and the screened porch is where we spend our mornings drinking coffee and listening to the birds. Sharon is a wonderful host who is easy to communicate with and goes out of her way to make sure her guests are happy with their stay.

Great place to stay. We had lots of fun using the kayaks and paddle boards. The view of the river is awesome and relaxing while watching all the people tubing, kayaking, and boating up and down. The fire pit was great to make a fire at night. The kitchen had everything we needed and the entire home was very clean. The loft area stayed a little warm so my kids did not want to sleep up there. We had clean music playing on the dock, which people on the river seemed to enjoy too, but the neighbor gave us a dirty look and gesture - no issues otherwise. Overall a great place to spend a few days.

Perfect stay! Steve and Tess were wonderful!!! They took me out on a boat for a river tour!! (it doesn't get better than that). The neighborhood was exceptionally peaceful and scenic. I had great morning walks with the dog. It was easy to meet the neighbors, everyone was so friendly and welcoming. It was just an unbelievably relaxing and perfect stay that ended far too soon! I plan to be back for sure!!

Perfect for our short stay

Great place: big, clean and great beds!

It was the perfect space for a small family gathering. It was great to be on the river, we had a fire every night and got the kayaks out. You can hear the rooster(s) throughout the night but we turned on a noise machine to drown them out. We saw a couple of bard owls. All rooms were spacious and it was a great location to check out the parks nearby. The beds were comfy and kitchen well stocked. We did bring our own frying pan and were glad we did as the one there was a little small and well loved.

We had a wonderful time in this perfectly located house on rainbow river! The home itself was quaint, cozy and clean. It has a ton of books and games inside - outside we could launch the kayaks and paddle boards from the garage straight into the water in the backyard. It was chilly so the pool was too cold to go in, but they left firewood for us to have a warm fire inside and even outside using the portable fire pit. Matt was great and very attentive too, helping us make sure we got into the home easily. We will be back!!

Absolutely a Hidden Gem. Relaxing and peaceful are the first two words that come to mind when I think of our time spent in Cedar Key. The host was responsive and the home owner was delightful. We took the kayaks out to a sandbar and had a picnic and saw some amazing wildlife up close. Bring bug spray if you go down to kayak launch the mosquitoes are bad but once you get on water not one bothered us.

Thea’s place is a wonderful spot. The deck and the view were such a pleasure! The house is well maintained and spotless.

The accommodations were really great for my holiday weekend stay! We used the lovely firepit -swing area every day. Bobby was responsive and helpful. The kitchen had everything I needed. Coffee overlooking the mist rising off the water in the morning was just so beautiful. The river is amazing… the hawks, ibis, anhinga, herons, and so many other birds were so cool to hear, and watch!

I enjoyed staying at this cute place. Very quiet and clean and felt right at home. My host was very responsive every time I had a question and very friendly. I highly recommend this place and if I have to travel that way again, I will definitely will love to stay there again. Thank you for making my stay so beautiful!

This was a work stay for four of us for a week. The cabin and surroundings were exactly what we were hoping for. It provided such a nice, quiet and peaceful atmosphere. I particularly enjoyed the family style decor, which just made us feel so welcome. If you love a good bathtub soak they have a wonderful, big cast iron, claw foot tub. Thanks Bina!

SUCH an amazing place to stay. Amazing breakfast with all homemade foods and things grown in their garden, viktoria was so kind and helpful. She made us feel so welcome and she had great recommendations as to how to spend our time! Very easy check in/check out, very peaceful and comfortable. And although it’s a guest house right next to their main home, it felt very private! Would 100% recommend!!! Was such a lovely trip for me and my boyfriend we are even hoping to come back eventually to stay with them again :) Also all the animals were so fun to watch and play with!

I had a wonderful experience staying at this Airbnb. The place was exactly as described—clean, cozy, and in a perfect location. What really stood out, though, was the host. They were incredibly responsive and made sure I had everything I needed throughout my stay. Any questions I had were answered within minutes, and they provided helpful local tips that made my trip even more enjoyable. I highly recommend staying here if you’re looking for a stress-free experience with a host who truly cares about their guests!

Great place- clean, amazing location, peaceful quiet, lots of stars at night. Just minutes from natural springs. Highly recommend!

Leslie was very responsive. The setting is private and the covered deck on rainy days wonderful to relax on. Leslie provided much appreciated extras like healthier cooking pans, sharp knives, a cutting board, and a medicine kit which are not usually provided in my years of experience. A word of caution apparently regarding airbnb policy. Check for potential price changes on your reservation Even IF you are subtracting something!!! Because I didn’t end up taking my dog with (deleting the pet fee), it changed my reservation and a $142.20 increase (county tax fee) was added! 😱

We went to snorkel at Devil's Den and stayed 2 nights at Karen's place. The cabin was beautiful and looked just like the photos. We met her goats snd chickens and horses and the property was stunning. Incredibly peaceful and felt far away from the world, yet only 10 minutes to Devil's Den. She left a great list of local restaurants and attractions. Was just lovley to drink coffee in the morning on the porch swings. We had delicious pizza at Archie's, but mostly just enjoyed the cabin and property. Highly recommend!

We enjoyed our stay here and will definitely be staying with them again in near future.
