We had a truly wonderful stay at the property! Both the property manager and property owner were incredibly kind and attentive—always quick to respond to any questions we had. The property itself is massive, peaceful, and just what we needed for a relaxing getaway. The house was very comfortable and had everything we needed. We especially enjoyed using the kayaks and exploring the little beach the owner told us about—she gave us clear directions and made sure we felt at home. The location is great too, close to some of the most famous springs in Florida. What truly made this trip special was the unique experience with the animals. The owner rescued a sweet deer that visits in the early morning and at dusk—she warmed up to us quickly and was such a joy to be around. Precious and Ruby, her pets, were also very sweet and friendly, and we were able to feed the deer and spend time with the animals, which we loved. It was a perfect stay, and we’re already planning to come back!

Worth 1000 stars. Can I just say it’s refreshing to find an Airbnb host in this area? Who isn’t price gouging. Collins properties are super reasonably priced. They’re in a beautiful area, you have access to everything, it’s super private, the area is maintained well, so your pets and family will not be covered in ticks and eaten up by mosquitoes, And it’s priced wonderfully. I can’t say enough good things. Plus this host is very easy to work with and very proactive and responsive. The thing I will mention that apparently puts people off is the well water is kind of brown Ish when you take a shower or a bath, also in the sink, but it’s well water and it’s perfectly fine. I had no problems at all, and neither did my dogs. So please chill out on the well water and enjoy this beautiful gem of an Airbnb and this wonderful house. We are so grateful and I will definitely be returning.

We were very happy with the accommodations. The condo was well equipped. Beautiful views of the marsh, and birds. Lovely. Katie’s was very accessible. Just a very nice place and cozy. Elevator was perfect and the dollies for taking your things up are in a room next to the elevator. Pool was very nice. Would stay there again. Cedar Key is coming back from a terrible hurricane 2 years ago. Still building and working on repairs. There were a few places open to eat, antique shops, bakery, library, a few stores. And you can rent a golf cart to drive all around Cedar Key, except on Route 24.

Great accommodations and great location. Room was super clean and had all you need. Nice balcony to sit and look over the beach area, and within walking distance to everything. Only recommendation is to provide clearer instructions to using the key pad if you have a late check in. Would definitely stay there again!

Katie was great to work with. The unit was perfect for our needs. Something we missed about the unit was it being 3 floors with stairs to climb between floors. If it was listed, we missed reading it. I have bad knees so it wasn't easy for me to climb upstairs to the kitchen on 3rd floor from the 1st floor master bedroom. Overall, the place was great. Easy walking around the area to downtown; restaurants

If you want the best place to stay at best place in Cedar Key Sonya’s house is it! Nothing negative about our visit!!!

This was our first time staying at an Airbnb- This Location and Condo, no doubt a 5 Stars. The Unit was clean, in order as described. The views were 10 stars. The middle room with bunk beds was a little warm, but nothing to complain about. Cedar Key is a small Island, quiet & peaceful. You can rent a golf cart and travel through out the Island. Highly recommended. We visited Steamers Restaurant every single night ! 5 Stars. Could not get enough. We are coming back for round 2 ! same unit ! Rafael & Jan

A beautiful space on the Rainbow River, you won’t regret staying here! The home is lovely and comfortable and the location can’t be beat if you enjoy nature and privacy. We didn’t use the guest house for our family of 4 but if we had a slightly larger group it would be a great option to spread out. This is a space for quiet time and relaxation, not to be loud or to party, which we appreciated. We arrived on Memorial day and the river was busy but the rest of the stay there was less boat traffic, just a few casual tubers and kayakers floating by. It has lots of floats and water gear and we brought our own canoe which can easily be launched from the yard. We made some fantastic family memories swimming, fishing and cooking off of the back deck and would love to come back next summer! Thanks!

Kelley’s place was excellent. High quality furnishings and spotlessly clean. The place was awesome and worth the price paid which was reasonable for what we received. It felt like a combination of a five star hotel and home. Our host communicated very clearly both prior to and during our visit.

Wonderful home in a great location, quiet and very well stocked with everything you will need. It was a perfect place to celebrate our mom.

Condo was amazing, felt right at home, everything was so clean, the Decor was so amazing, you could really tell there was a lot of thought put into it, private boat slip is always a big plus for us. Talked to Wayne a couple of times and they were very informative about everything. Highly Highly recommend them, Me and My wife fell in love with this place from the from the time we walked thru the door and the views are fabulous, we are already fixing to book our next trip down, A++++++++++++

This house exceeded our expectations. It was beautiful, spacious, comfortable and had everything we needed. We loved enjoying the wildlife in the yard, taking the kayaks out on the river, relaxing around the firepit and using the hot tub. We ended our evenings cozy on the couch watching movies on the projector. Megan's guidebook had some great suggestions of places to go in the area and she responded very quickly every time I contacted her. I would definitely stay here again!

We had a great stay at Chimera. We brought our own tubes and floated from their other property upriver and back to this property saving us $120. The float took about an hour and a half. Parking at their other location was well marked. The walk from this rental back to the other location to pick up our vehicle took about 40 minutes. The walk was through a neighborhood slightly uphill without side walks. It’s not a bad walk for adults or teenagers. Using the kayaks was great.The river water by the private dock directly on the river at Chimera has two sandy river bottom patches we stood in and swam around. The current river depth was about five feet by the dock. We saw Fred the bird, fish, small turtles, a young bobcat, and four otters swimming/feeding by the dock almost every day. We did not see any alligators during this stay but have along the river during previous trips which have avoided humans. Chimera is in a great river location. 10 out of 10 would recommend! I have traveled all over the US and often utilize Airbnb and this is going down in the books as one of my favorite homes! The house itself is like a time capsule. Lots of antique furniture and nostalgic pieces of the past. But also super clean, comfortable and up-to-date. The amenities are also amazing! Everything was clean, well organized, and ready to use. The main river is about a 15 minute paddle, but it’s gorgeous. My kids said this might be one of their favorite vacations we’ve ever taken! The Neighbor kids even came over and joined us for a game of basketball. All of the neighbors seemed super friendly. The house is also well stocked with things like pans, dishes, silverware, extra blankets, pillows, etc. And sitting on the deck for morning, coffee and to relax in the evening is amazing. Communication with the host was easy and painless. We will most definitely be staying again!

We loved our stay at George’s with our toddler and dog. The house was very clean and the backyard was spacious. Very well equipped home with conveniences not included at all air bnbs, which we really appreciated. We had so much fun taking a few of the kayaks out on the river and also rented a boat, which we docked at the house. Our dog loved all the room he had to run and we enjoyed breezy afternoons and gorgeous sunsets sitting out by the river. Cranes, a turtle and an alligator were all seen from the backyard. We felt immersed in nature while still being a quick drive away from grocery, restaurants and both Rainbow River and Hunter Springs (15 min). My husband appreciated the grill and espresso machine. The only downside is the master shower, which js a bit cramped for a 6’2 guy and near impossible for me to shower without getting my hair wet, so I used the bath/shower in the other bathroom instead! We would stay here again!

We've been coking to Cedar Key a few times a year for the past 14 years. This was the first time we stayed on that side of the Island. The condo was wonderful, looking forward to booking it again.

This is the perfect location for sitting on the balcony and watching the dolphins playing in the gulf. Easy walk into town. Clean, with every you need for a relaxing stay.

I recently stayed at Pelican Vacation Home in Cedar Key, and it was an incredible experience! The stunning views of the Gulf and the peaceful surroundings made it the perfect escape. The home was spacious, spotless, and beautifully decorated, with every detail thoughtfully considered. The large deck quickly became our favorite spot for watching the sunrise and sunset, all while enjoying the ocean breeze. The fully stocked kitchen made it easy to prepare meals, and the comfortable bedrooms ensured a restful stay. The location was ideal—just a short walk to Cedar Key’s quaint shops, restaurants, and the beach, yet still offering plenty of peace and quiet. We also enjoyed kayaking and exploring the local wildlife. The owners were wonderful—responsive and helpful from start to finish, making our stay seamless. If you're looking for a relaxing getaway with all the comforts of home and stunning views, I highly recommend Pelican Vacation Home. We can't wait to visit again!

This is not the place to stay if you’re looking for an over commercialized, overbuilt, loud party town. However, if like us, you are in need of a quiet getaway this is the perfect place! We spent an entire day on the private beach watching the dolphins play. Then went and rented kayaks another day to go out and play with them. There are DOZENS of them off the patio. The town is quaint and welcoming and Katie made many recommendations about where we should go to visit and eat. We felt right at home and can’t wait to return.

Had a great time at the condo. We felt right at home and enjoyed meeting new friends during the unofficial "happy hour". There is no shortage of things to do in the area and this was a great place to stay while visiting our daughter. We will stay here again. The only disappointing thing was that the pool temperature was very cold, but this was not any fault of the hosts themselves, the weather was unusually cold for FL during our stay. We still were able to use the pool during our stay.

Abigail was very nice and always responded! The place was perfect. Great location for fishing and fun! Bonus was the beautiful sunset!! 🌅

The house was very clean and plenty of room for family. Town was nice , even though they’re trying to rebuild after the last storm that hit them.

Kayley was flexible and able to change our dates on short noticed. My husband spent 3 days fishing with friends, caught red fish and sea trout. He loved how peaceful the area was.
