The Old Sawmill, Lough Eske 18th Century Mill

PeggyRating, 5 stars4 weeks ago
Came to Ireland for a family vacation - 8 adults and a 1 year old. This was our third AirBnb on the trip and cannot say enough about how wonderful it was! So much history but with modern amenities. It was the best part of our trip. Went on many walks - over to the castle and to Harvey's Point stopping at the Famine Pot and seeing great views of the lake & farm animals along the way. Stayed three nights and used the pool/pond and sauna every day. The dining & living rooms were really spacious. We cooked all of our meals - the kitchen is a great set up with loads of dishes and anything you could need. The butcher in town had a great selection. Musical instruments were a huge bonus. It was quite warm for May so we didn't have a chance to have any fires - but the fireplaces would be wonderful for cool nights. There is also the 'wagon' which has a double bed, small kitchen and seating area and an adjacent full bathroom available. Rose was always a message away and super helpful. Loved it!

River Cottage Retreat~Sauna~Cold Plunge~Waterfall

ViktorRating, 5 stars2 days ago
Our stay at River Cottage felt less like checking into an Airbnb and more like stepping into Anna and Luke’s thoughtfully curated retreat. Nestled beside a usually gentle stream, the cottage offered a rare kind of quiet. We found ourselves unwinding in ways we hadn’t expected. As if the place itself were helping us silence the usual rush of thoughts. The sauna and cold plunge, discreetly positioned at the water’s edge, added a touch of simple luxury. They blended seamlessly into the natural surroundings rather than standing out as flashy extras, even when lit up at night. We explored the surrounding area by car and found Sligo to be the perfect complement to the cottage’s peaceful seclusion. My wife and I already feel drawn back to this little slice of Ireland - eager for another chance to recharge in the calm that Anna and Luke have created. We’re also looking forward to seeing their next ideas come to life.
A spacious living area features comfortable leather sofas arranged around a coffee table, creating a relaxed seating arrangement. Natural light filters in through large windows with sheer curtains. A dining area with wooden chairs is visible in the background, complementing the inviting atmosphere.

The Lodge at Roe Park Resort

ShelbyRating, 5 stars59 months ago
We were astonished by this place. The house is so deceiving from the front but once you enter it’s completely modern with an en-suite in every single bedroom, you would swear you were staying in the hotel itself. The rooms were spotless and the staff on site were absolutely amazing. Will definitely be back here again soon and will be recommending this place to everyone who is looking for a staycation. Thanks again for a great night away.
A dining area with wooden flooring is visible, featuring two tables covered with patterned tablecloths. Chairs of varying styles surround the tables. Light enters through the windows, and a doorway separates this space from other areas of the house.

We had a wonderful time at Barbara's place! The space was exactly as described - clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The attention to detail really stood out, everything from the cozy linens to the thoughtful little touches like extra towels and the selection of breakfast items, made our stay feel extra special. Barbara was extremely welcoming and responsive, making the check-in process smooth. I truly appreciated how thoughtful and accommodating she was throughout our stay. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a cozy, convenient spot to stay!

An unforgettable retreat with breathtaking views of sloping hillsides and the lough in the distance. The house is designed to showcase the scenery, with huge windows throughout that flood the space with light and offer stunning vistas from every room. The pool is large enough for both exercise and fun, and the outdoor wood-fired hot tub is a perfect way to unwind while enjoying the scenery and smell of wood fire. This home is worth any price they ask! The magnificent view made us want to simply sit at the huge window and watch the days go by. But there were many other things to do in the area. Meeting the host was an enjoyable experience. Every possible convenience was available. The bedding was comfortable and exactly as described. We fully intend to go back again.

Beautiful house in a really spectacular location. The instructions and communication were excellent, the house was clean, cosy and has been well done up. We were a group of adults working in the area and it was lovely to have a nice kitchen where we could cook and chat in the evenings, a warm fire to sit beside, comfortable beds and hot showers. There is no village nearby but we had a great night in the Cottage pub in Letterkenny and had arrived with lots of food.

Beach House Lane, Fahan. Luxury Stay. Sleep 10-12*

Emmajane AlenaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful Airbnb in Fahan. The house was outstanding in every aspect, offering an amazing view for every cup of tea & meal. There was 11 of us in total & the house at all times felt spacious & tranquil. The kids especially loved the beach, the pool table & the cinema room. Alexandra, our host, was exceptional. Approachable, friendly, and always ready with excellent advice on local amenities, which truly enhanced our experience. (Thank you especially for Crana Stables & Leenakeel Beach, both gave us amazing memories that will last a lifetime). We couldn’t rate the house and our host highly enough! Everyone had a magnificent holiday. Finally, this was a perfect getaway, and we sincerely hope to return to this beautiful place again. Highly recommended!

Home in the Heart of the Village

GerryRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
4 guys up in Donegal playing golf on a few different courses, 3 of which were within 20 minutes of Milford. The property itself was ideal with the kitchen stocked with some every day necessities, teabags, coffee, sugar, condiments etc. On entry to the house the heating was on, something that was appreciated when we got back from golf after getting soaked to the skin on the back 9 thatafternoon.( we had showered and changed). One of the bonuses of the property was we each had our own bedroom. I would gladly stay in the property if it were available and I was in the area again. Thank you Gerard for all your help.

The Box House. Fahan.Modern Luxury. Views.Donegal.

ElizabethRating, 5 stars3 days ago
Coming from a disappointing rental experience at a home in Letterfrack, the Box House was a welcomed respite. Beautiful and modern design and interior decor. Quiet and private setting with views of Lough Swilly and Inch Island. Comfortable beds and pillows. Well equipped kitchen. We loved the large couch and flat screen tv with Netflix for relaxing after day trips to explore County Donegal and N. Ireland. Christine’s responsiveness to questions was amazingly fast!

Glen Lough View Apartment

PaulRating, 5 stars9 months ago
My second stay here this summer - its ideally located if you want peace and quiet but well positioned if you need to get access to Letterkenny, Cresslough or Dunfanaghy - and very close to beaches - The Boardwalk being the closest. The Glen bar and restaurant is on the door step and is a top 10 Irish eatery - you'll have to book in advance...months ahead maybe? Its a great place to stay - if you intend to occupy yourself outdoors and if the weather forces you indoors its a comfortable and cosy and has everything you need. Couldn't recommend it highly enough.

Friendly Welcome

PhilipRating, 5 stars3 days ago
Such a wonderful house with everything we ever needed for a fantastic stay. The whole house is big and spacious, plenty of room for 4 people. It also has a big kitchen with everything we needed for our cooking, oven, stove, big fridge, 6 seaters dining table, microwave, air fryer, toaster and many more. There are also a washing machine and a dryer. Parking is inside the property compound. Debbie left us a bottle of wine which we greatly appreciated. She is such a wonderful person, friendly and kind. Without hesitation, we will book it again when we come back to this area. Highly recommended
