Katie & Alex’s cottage is in the perfect location to really soak in all of the Welsh beauty. The cottage and the garden is beautiful. It is the perfect place to relax and unwind! Hosts were really helpful when needed!!

Jamie & Dan are very fortunate to have this beautiful property. It is the ideal country location for escaping away and distancing yourself from our increasingly busy lives. The gardens around the property are stunning, the views are incredible and the local area is amazing to explore on foot, bike or by car. We had an amazing stay and would happily return, and have already started to recommend to friends & family

Nuthatch cottage is down quite an uneven road, so you need to take your time when driving down the lane. Would definitely recommend and we will stay there again if ever we are back in the beautiful Forest of Dean.

Amazing stay at the Yarlington Dairy. The cottage was stunning and had everything you needed. The views were magnificent and the cider was also lush! Laura was a wonderful host, super friendly and very responsive. Thank you for a great stay celebrating our 1st wedding anniversary! 🤩 x

A beautiful cottage in the heart of Malvern Hills. Everything is of superior quality. The decor, plates, cutlery, bedding, washroom facilities. Extremely peaceful and fantastic views - great walks as you step outside the door and Holywell spring water - 5 mins walk up the road. A great location to explore The Cotswolds.

Absolutely beautiful place. The house is quirky and beautifully furnished, it had everything we needed. The outside space is fantastic with spectacular views. The hot tub and sauna are a real treat. Lots to do within a short drive. I have no doubt I will be booking again in the future. Thank you Jayne.

Would highly recommend staying. Jackie is a brilliant host and gave us loads of local knowledge and tips to add to our itinerary. The barn itself is lovely and extremely dog friendly with the summerhouse and paddock included.

Lovely quaint cottage. Fabulous kitchen and bathroom, including steam shower. Spotless. Pub next door, but absolutely no issues with noise. Off road parking was fine, but not for a larger car. Ludlow was very nice with loads of pubs. £6 in a taxi with TJ’s taxis Lovely stay. Thank you Anne.

What a gorgeous place if all you need is peace and quiet and the sound of the birds this is for you. Even better is it’s only 25 minutes from Abergavenny and it’s Waitrose 😉. Wilma was lovely and updated us with everything and replied with answers to our queries . We are only annoyed that we took so long to find this little gem!

A beautiful cottage in an idyllic setting, super dog friendly and a very warm welcome.

Lovely cottage. The dog was very secure in garden. Very sunny garden where u have relaxing garden furniture to enjoy. 15-20 mins walk to pub. Which has large garden by the river. Fish and chip shop opposite where u have seating by the river to enjoy. Owners next door who were lovely to chat too and gave us complete privacy. Very enjoyable stay.

Very nice cottage, especially the conservatory in peaceful rural location with lovely views. Well equipped and spotlessly clean. We had a problem with the fridge but Serena immediately brought round a replacement. Also very helpful in recommending a good pub in Tillington for an evening meal on the first night. Plenty of space for a group of 6 friends. We enjoyed watching the ponies with their foals in the adjoining field.

We had a wonderful stay at the Hop Kiln. Very clear directions made it easy to find. AS a result, we arrived a little early for check-in, but Kiel was there to greet us and the place was spotless and ready to go. The location is beautiful, and very peaceful. The kitchen is well equipped, with a decent oven, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. Very comfortable and private, we had slept extremely well all the time we were there. We loved the terrace, and ate as many of our meals there as we could. There is a nice large dining table inside also. Shower was great, and the bathroom well laid out with plenty of space. There is a separate washer and dryer, which is nice. Kiel was a wonderful host, very responsive (in seconds!), and left us to enjoy our time. There is a small stall on site selling eggs, jams, plants, etc, which is a nice treat. Highly recommended.

Such a cute cottage in a really quiet area- away from the touristy towns but still close enough to drive all over. Beautiful walking paths. Very clean cottage and super helpful host- had great breakfast recs. Definitely recommend if you want to experience the countryside.

Bill was a perfect host. Friendly but not intrusive, and his basket of goodies was amazing. Couldn’t fault the cottage. It had everything one would need for a carefree and relaxing break. I would certainly recommend it, and would definitely like to stay here again.

We loved the cottage. There are a few challenges that are well communicated by the host due to the age of the house, but in my estimation, this only adds to its charm. the surrounding village and countryside are amazing! Highly recommend breakfast at Henry's.

My wife and I stayed here for two nights over the weekend while attending a nearby wedding, and absolutely loved it. The place itself is beautiful – full of charm, peaceful, and surrounded by stunning countryside. It felt very private and wholesome, like a perfect little retreat. Kirstie was brilliant – extremely responsive, kind, and helpful throughout. You can tell they really care about the space and their guests. We also loved meeting her lovely dogs! Everything was clean, well thought out, and comfortable, with lovely touches that made it feel like a home away from home - thanks for the brownies and breakfast! We’d happily return and would definitely recommend this spot to anyone looking for a tranquil, characterful place to stay in the area.

We had the most peaceful and relaxing few days at Llanvapley Court. The cottage and surrounding gardens/courtyard are beautifully kept and equipped - everything exudes quality and care for detail. We made good use of Joanna's recommendations for eating out and local walks and enjoyed very good food at both the Black Bear and the Angel Hotel in Abergavenny. We had a fun evening at the lively pub in Llanvapley and did some gorgeous sunny walks both around the village and further afield. Llanvapley Court was the perfect base for cosy nights and long leisurely breakfasts.

Our stay at Meris’s Cottage was perfect from start to finish. Everything is beautifully well kept and the outside space is wonderful. Maggie was an amazing host, who messaged with all the information we needed and was also there to help if we needed anything. Cleanliness was outstanding and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We really had such a brilliant stay here. Pat and her husband made us feel so very welcome with delicious Welsh cakes, some essentials, and freshly cut flowers from their beautiful garden. It’s a real hideaway down a tiny lane in a small village, so feels immensely peaceful to unwind in amongst the bees and birdsong and the mewing of lambs. Breakfast in the morning sun on the balcony. Even though we had a pretty active time with a couple of stunning hilly walks in the Black Mountains and all sorts of exploring in the Wye Valley, it really feels a perfect place to relax and get away from it all. Can’t wait to visit again. We were totally charmed. Thanks for a great stay.
