This was a hidden gem! PERFECT for my entire little family… and grandbabies! Very kid friendly. Came equipped with all the things necessary for them… potty training stool, handwashing step, bassinet, playpen, toys, games and puzzles. Literally, All the way down to a private nursing room with a comfy easy rocker. We had a 7 week old, 2y/o and 4y/o. Only thing we need to pack for the next stay is their clothes! The suite is very clean, tidy and smelled fresh. My daughter owns a cleaning company and she was extremely impressed with the cleanliness especially being a first time mom with a newborn away from home. It literally felt so much like home! I am looking forward to future stays with my family as this was definitely a stress free stay! Thank you both so much for sharing your beautiful home with me and my family. I feel like I have made friends for life. Thank you for your hospitality!

This home, located in a quiet neighborhood, was exactly what we needed instead of a hotel. We returned to Illinois for a wedding, and afterward, we were able to host our family members, making it feel just like being at home! Any concerns we had were addressed quickly, and Melodie and her staff were very friendly and accommodating. When our grandchildren and great-grandchildren came to visit, they had a fantastic time playing table tennis downstairs.

Lovely home with great amenities. Perfect for the family event in Freeport, which was why we were in Freeport. Roger was on top of everything. Would definitely stay here again, as well as recommend to friends.

Book this property immediately! If you’re looking for a remote, peaceful property this is your spot. We loved exploring the property and land. Plenty of wildlife and farm animals to observe in the area. The sky is crazy clear at night. Great star gazing and an awesome porch to sip your coffee out on. Extremely clean and well stocked. Also not much to have to do on the “clean up” list during checkout which is always nice when you’re trying to get out the door with littles. In the area often and we wouldn’t hesitate to come back. Phil is so kind and clearly loves hosting guests and helping them feel at home. Cool decor, too!
