A little one-night break between friends that was just perfect for recharging the batteries. The cottage is a little gem between the pool, the spa, the view, and the surrounding calm. The welcome and availability that Angélique gave us made our short stay better. We'll be back very soon and plan to make it our annual destination (bi-annual?😊) Thanks for everything!!

Stephane and Sylvie were amazing hosts. They gave us great local recommendations, organised a personal winery tour for us and booked in a massage. The location is beautiful, peaceful setting and the pool was fantastic. We booked to have breakfast one morning - it was stunning. Beautiful presentation and lovely food. We highly recommend staying here - truley relaxing.

Great stay! The hosts are very nice and welcoming. The accommodation is clean, comfortable and well equipped, exactly as described. Very good location, with several nice towns nearby for sightseeing.

We were greeted by Lucille , who spoke perfect English and Monsieur . We were shown all about the house, how to operate the jacuzzi and given excellent recommendations for the area. The booklet was invaluable particularly for village market days. The house is so attractively deco and so comfortable with everything you need to make your stay troubles free and relaxing. As we are from Australia we loved cooking outside on the BBQ. Being supplied with wraps for the jacuzzi was much appreciated as was the jacuzzi after climbing lots of steps visiting the castles. Our hosts all came to farewell us which was a lovely friendly touch. We thank you all for your lovely home and generous spirit of welcome. This is an excellent Perigord base and we strongly recommend it.

We were welcomed by Didier one night. It was warm and thoughtful because he bought us a “survival kit” for breakfast and recommended us the exceptional places to visit…this area is a real favorite. The cottage is great, you feel at home very quickly with the spacious living room and its superb fireplace, the comfortable bedding, as well as the hot tub that served every day. The outside is amazing, it's in the middle of the quiet greenery, where crickets accompany our days and evenings. The cottage is equipped for children…toys, books, bikes, swings and slides. A stone's throw from the Château de Bonaguil, it's easy to enjoy one of the most beautiful castles in the area as well as the restaurant downstairs. Didier, thank you so much for this week, it was perfect!

We had a lovely stay at La Florelie. The setting is really beautiful, quiet and relaxing. Total relaxation. Thanks to Simon for hosting us as well as Beau and Belle ;) I recommend it and we will come back without hesitation.

What a charm when you arrive in Marcillac-Saint-Quentin! The driveway reveals a wooded and well-kept park with a large shared swimming pool. Exceptional hospitality from Mariette and Jacques! Mariette is discreet, attentive, very sweet and generous and has a sense of hospitality. The exposed stone house has a private garden with table, deckchairs and BBQ. - On the ground floor, freshness is welcome: equipped kitchen, Louis Philippe living room, renovated furniture. Majestic open fireplace, ready to be lit. Another nice touch. - Upstairs 2 spacious bedrooms, also well-kept. Quality bedding and linens. Pleasure from the morning to open the windows, listen to the birds singing and watch the squirrel jumping from tree to tree. The house located 10 min from Sarlat, not far from Lascaux, is perfect for reconnecting with nature. It's a peaceful haven with beautiful energy. We'll be happy to go back! I would highly recommend it

Only one night spent at Martine and Jean-Michel's, but I would definitely stay again if possible. The layout of the house is charming and authentic.

We had an utterly fabulous week at Magalie's lovely gite. Very tranquil settings, just the sounds of the birds and peace and quiet. The grounds were beautiful tended and the gite was immaculate and very well set out and equiped. The beds were memory foam I think and very comfortable and lots of hot water. Important things i think when looking for reviews. It rained most days but the heating was on and very comfortable. ,Magalie and her husband were very helpful and lovely hosts. We will book again xx

What a wonderful spot to get away! Truly beautiful views and if you like to hear the birds, this a must stay. Very quiet for sleeping. Lots of space for us to spread out in the large kitchen area and the outside covered patio. Conveniently located near Perigueux, 15 minutes to most services. Please note: There are steep stairs to the upper level and you walk through one bedroom with an ensuite bathroom to get to the third bedroom. Second bathroom on upper floor. Worked just fine for our family. Lots of lovely paths for walking. Laura and her family are lovely. Definitely recommend.

We had a fantastic stay at Rigal - Jackie and Chris were the perfect hosts. We were 2 couples and 2 toddlers and both us and the boys had a fantastic time on the farm - and when the weather was misbehaving on the first couple of days, the place had loads of toys to entertain the kids. Rigal is a very beautiful place and is extremely peaceful - the only noisy neighbours are the animals on the farm! It’s an easy drive from Bergerac airport and very easy to find; it’s also out the way enough to feel secluded without being inaccessible. We’ll definitely come back and will recommend to friends and family.

We spent 4 very pleasant days. The cottage is well located, you can park in front of it. It is in the countryside and the environment is very relaxing. A terrace where we had lunch, a modern kitchen with all the necessary equipment and a top bathroom. Excellent bedding and extremely clean! We were very well looked after and if the opportunity presents itself we will come back! We recommend this cottage for people who love nature and tranquility

We loved our stay so much and look forward to returning. The house and extensive grounds are quite beautiful and very peaceful. Perfect in every way. Diana and her husband were perfect hosts and made us feel so welcome.

Linda and Alex's villa is in a beautiful & peaceful location, it has a fantastic swimming pool and beautiful gardens with lots of things to do – table tennis, swimming, boules, & relaxing 😌 The area is wonderful with lots of River swimming and beautiful towns all within a 10/15 minute drive We will definitely be returning

The house was wonderfully spacious, the view beautiful. We could walk into the vineyards and orchard from the garden with our dog for a beautiful walk. When it rained, we could sit in the spacious sitting room. The swimming pool was also well worthwhile. We even got a bike to borrow from Alex, Lucien's son.

Our stay at La Maine was wonderful. Catherine and Maxence are excellent hosts, extremely welcoming and warm, but also very respectful of privacy. The cottage is impeccably decorated and comfortable -- we cooked a couple of meals after shopping at the farmer's market, and the kitchen was perfectly equipped. Cubjac is small, but inviting -- be sure to go to the bakery, to the farmer's market, and to the Tabac for aa coffee. Catherine and Maxence had great recommendations for restaurants and outings -- every one of their suggestions was 100%. Our only regret is that we didn't plan a longer stay! Thank you to our new friends in Cubjac -- and Lila and Iris, of course.

Extremely hospitable and welcoming hosts. Made us feel right at home, almost as if we were friends of the family! Very helpful and responsive on messaging, provided excellent recommendations of things to do (recommend the kayaking) and even invited us to the local village fête de musique. A wonderful, relaxing and memorable time which we would certainly recommend.

This is one of the best AirBnBs we have ever stayed in. The views from the terrace are absolutely amazing, and the garden/ pool area is perfect for children of all ages. There are lots of lovely vineyards, markets and villages to visit within a 30 minute drive. Lovely cycling, walking and running right on the door step. The house itself is better than photographed, it is very spacious, clean and tidy with a well equipped kitchen for cooking for large groups. Hosts were responsive throughout to any questions.

What a fantastic time we had at Olivier's house. The house is beautiful with a view of the vineyards. The view is better than in the photos. The pool is lovely. The house was super clean and fully equipped. The surrounding area has many beautiful villages. We will definitely come back!! Oh and recommended is also the wine tasting at Olivier's house.

Jenny and Marc were excellent hosts. We were made to feel very welcome and they are lovely people. The place is beautiful, the view is amazing, the gîte was very comfortable and well equipped. It is such a peaceful and tranquil place and the pool is superb. We cannot fault it at all. Thank you Jenny and Marc!
