Bedroom with a panoramic view of the sea. The 8 km beach is certified with a blue flag and golden quality of water (2 min walk). A space for those who enjoy nature, peacefulness, going for a walk or doing aerial and water sports. Just a few minutes from historical cities such as Alcobaça, Batalha and Óbidos as well as villages like Nazaré and S. Martinho do Porto. Clients can have access to wifi connection, private parking and may use the fridge, microwave and water boiler in the kitchen area.

Paradise with rustic rooms in natural valley

Enjoy one of our 3 lovely guest rooms amidst nature: double bed, total relaxation, digital detox, great organic food, stunning nature, hiking, reading, eating, drinking.... In winter it is advised to make reservations at least two days ahead, there is no central heating, so give us some time to fire up the rocket stove mass heater and make sure it is comfortable when you arrive! If you want you can order breakfast (extra cost), lunch or dinner (make reservations before!). No communal kitchen!

Grota Lodging 06 - Country House

This small, contemporary room with a minimalist cement and stone aesthetic is on the ground floor and is the only one in the complementary building that uses the walls of the old room in this block. The stone's silver tones evoke a harmonious palette of tranquility and subtlety, creating a bridge between the old and the new, with a touch of versatility that is fresh and elegant. It is a ground floor room and, as such, it is suitable for people with reduced mobility due to its easy access.

With sophisticated details honoring the prime area of the house, it features an interior that is not only beautiful, but also has a sense of durability. The materials used, such as the marble stone and cement of the pavement, reinforce its solid construction. The windows framed by the heavy stonework display the dogs that adorn the house with flowers. It has the external staircase typical of Portuguese architecture, connecting to the village's main street, where the river flows.

Disconnect and relax in this unique, stylish and restful accommodation. Located in the middle of nowhere you have silence and a breathtaking view: two mountains, a Portuguese moinho (mill), grape vines, walking and biking paths. A mini mercado and local cafe-restaurants, 3 km further is proof that you are not totally on your own in Ribeira de Alcalamouque. It is a half hour drive from Coimbra and Pombal. It is about 1,5 hours to go to Porto by car and 2 hours to Lisbon.

In this room, a cozy minimalism awaits us for an invigorating stay. The solid pine wood invites a soft, warm touch, which, together with the natural materials and indirect lighting, transports us to a dimension of tranquility. The neutral colors of the interior penetrate the terracotta colors of the terrace, from which there is a view of the interior courtyard of Grota, with the greatest impact on the complementary building and our rooms.

Grota Lodging 03 - Country House

In a symbiosis of architecture with the outside environment, above with the clay-tiled roofs and below with the reflections of the low waters of the river, this waterfall opens us to a space that goes far beyond the village. The large balcony window brings in plenty of natural light, adding energy to its serenity. In winter, the humidity comes in waves of steam, with the comfort of an interior that welcomes us.

Villa Boutique is a modern and elegant accommodation. Located in the historic center of Vila de Rei, it offers Double Rooms, Family Rooms, Suites and Studios with a kitchen.
