Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Leiria District

Very calm and welcoming space, we were very welcome, ideal for holidays with family or friends.

We stayed at Leonor's litte house for a week and had a wonderful time. The house is situated beautifully in nature and is a great place to explore the area from. The house is small but has what you need with 2 person's. We also enjoyed the frequent visit of Leonor's father's dogs! Perfect place to relax!

Functional, pleasant and spacious house. As described and photos. Host welcoming and responsive. There are no negative points. We had a great time. You can rent this house without hesitation. If we return to Portugal, no doubt we will try to rent this house again. There were 8 of us, 7 adults and a child. The pool is lovely. And the hosts are very welcoming. The bottle of wine offered on arrival is a plus that is very much appreciated.

We had a great stay in extremely comfortable surroundings. Clean, spacious, well equipped. Fabulous swimming pool! Exiting the property a bit hazardous by car. The property is on a very busy main road and is a lorry route, you need two people to exit, one in the street as traffic flies by! A mirror situated so that you can see what is coming would be extremely helpful. The road is noisy but did not penetrate the house too much. Most shops, restaurants, etc are a short drive away. There is nowhere close enough on foot. Beds are comfortable but bed linen and towels are a little old and tired, they could do with replacing. Contacting the host during the week was problematical. Phone rings 3 times then changes to engaged tone. On one occasion all the electricity cut out, fortunately we were able to find the trip switches. We were aware that in an emergency we could not make immediate contact, a bit worrying. A minor point but as a party of 7, two sets of keys would have been helpful.

The house and the exterior were beautiful, we were able to rest. For us there was only one less positive point, we did not know that the house of the parents of the owner Isabel was literally next to the house we rented, the separation is a gate, but even so there is a door that gives access to the rented house, this takes away a little privacy. However, we loved it, and both the couple and the owner Isabel were super friendly and available

We had a wonderful time in Vale da Palha! The place was very nicely located – in the middle of the countryside – and there was an incredible amount of space in the garden to relax and linger. An absolute highlight! Our own terrace was in the sun all day, perfect for breakfast, reading or just enjoying the peace. The place was perfectly equipped, we really didn't miss anything – everything we needed was there. The location is quiet and you need a car for the area, but you can also wonderfully spend time in Xander's huge garden. Another highlight was the five chickens that visited us regularly – as well as the friendly cats and dogs on the premises. We like to think back to this beautiful time and highly recommend a stay here! ☀️🐓

Phantastic house with a beautiful huge garden, lake view and direct access to the lake. The house is a traditional stone house but the interior is very tasteful and modern. The house itself is great but the outside is even better. A large garden with different areas and absolutely beautiful trees and plants. You can see and feel that João and his family have put a lot of love into the house and the garden and thought of every detail. Bi Strong recommendation if you want to stay in a lovely house that is spacious but also very private. João is a very attentive host and very friendly. We were greeted with a warm smile, self made Olive oil and freshly picked lemons from the garden. If possible I would rate with more than 5 stars. 🙂🤩

The space and accommodation exceeded expectations, from the outdoor space with a super unobstructed view to the interior. Mr. Francisco was super attentive to us and flexible with our requests, we will certainly return. Thank you.

We loved staying here and wished we'd stayed longer. The apartment has everything you need even a beach bag and umbrella.

We had some issues in the check in, our host mistake the dates and didn’t gave us the code to get into de building but everything was solve in an hour. It’s amazing place, big , comfortable, clean in a quiet location. The kitchen is very well equipped. It’s just a shame, not be able to use the swimming pool.

Maria went over and beyond to ensure I had an enjoyable and memorable stay in Nazaré! The Airbnb looked exactly like the photos and was cleaned immaculately. You cannot beat the location, seconds away from the beach and restaurants. Maria was incredibly generous and kind! She was always just a message away if I had any issues and she responded very quickly. After checking out, I was able to store my luggage at her store which was very helpful! Thankyou so much Maria, I will definitely be visiting again! 🩷

A lovely place, one of the best Airbnbs we've ever stayed in, very complete, cozy, well located, very clean. The location allows you to go by Uber to both Óbidos and the beach for €6. Close to markets, restaurants and downtown Caldas de Reina. Highly recommended! They let us check in earlier. Gracias fatima

Parking is horrible but that’s common for the area. Unload your car and then go park your car a few blocks away. Note this is a very tiny place… Works great for a couple but if you’ve got kids or guests, it’ll be tight. As for location, this place can’t be beat…. It’s amazing.

Very nice location for this very welcoming accommodation where everything has been thought out with care and attention. The host put himself in the tenant's shoes, thinking about every detail that would make the stay enjoyable. Everything was very clean and I recommend this place for a visit to the area.

The stay was great, the place is close to the beach and as a coffee underneath. In my opinion the coffee was a little expensive and without too many options, another note is that if you wanna go there you'll definitely need to take your car. The space and now speaking of the overall apartment was great, it was clean and organized had the basic things that one needs but personally didn't explore too much that part since we took everything we needed ourselves.

One of the best experiences we've ever had with Airbnb. We stayed here while visiting Fátima and Nazaré, and this home was perfectly located near both. We were traveling as a family with two babies, a 5 year old, my wife, and my mother-in-law, and we all had a wonderful time. The house is surrounded by peaceful countryside and is only 5 minutes away from several supermarkets. The kitchen is very well equipped, and the photos honestly don't do justice to the true beauty of the home. João, our host, was phenomenal attentive, kind, and always willing to help. We had an unforgettable, safe, and relaxing family stay. We truly hope to come back.

Great place to stay in Nazare. Away from the busy parts yet close enough to walk to many places to shop and eat. Beach is across the street making it easy to get to. Private parking in garage under building with remote control to open and raise the garage door.

This apartment is simply a gem! Comfortable, modern, cosy - supplied with everything you might need even for a long stay. One of the advantages for me was heating option, as during time of my stay it wasn't warm outside. The location is perfect - quiet beautiful neighbourhood + nice views. Supermarkets are in walkable distance. Also you can hear the sound of waves during night, even with closed windows. And waking up to a view of the ocean from your window - it's something I could trade my soul for 😅 I definitely want to come back again and stay longer next time. Also very fast and pleasant communication with the hosts - I appreciate that. Overall, book this place with no hesitation, I'm 100% sure you'll enjoy your stay.

This was a lovely stay, at Casal do Varatojo. Sara and the whole family were wonderful. We enjoyed a yoga class, and my daughter loved the surroundings, Fátima, the pool, the friendship with Camila, everything really. The blackout happened during our stay, and I'll never forget how they were so proactive in providing information and all that was needed to make our lives easier. Thank you for everything!
