That's exactly what you can experience in Jølet, the cabin that is specially designed to give an optimal feeling of closeness to nature. On the edge of a "jøl" (a type of riverbank), created by the river's thousand-year effort to reach the fjord, the cabin partially floats in the terrain. Situated completely by itself without close neighbors, but overlooking the cultural landscape and village, this is a perfect place for both relaxation and activity.

Panoramic view of the mountain Eggenipa "Norway's pyramid". The cabin is equipped with a small kitchen, bathroom with incineration toilet, bed for two and seating in the lounge. Water tank and simple cooking opportunity. Here, you have access to hiking opportunities, fishing, and other outdoor activities in the area.

Cozy cabin right on the seafront, with the fjord as the closest neighbor. The cabin consists of a living room, kitchen, bedroom, bathroom, hallway and loft. Plus, there is a great barbecue house. Here you can enjoy quiet days at the fjord or you have a good starting point for getting around the many sights and activities the area has to offer. The cabin can be used throughout the year, summer and winter. It takes approx. 10 minutes by car to Stryn city center. To Loen Skylift about 15-20 minutes.

Location on Skredestranda, about 3.5 km from Årvik ferry dock, in a quiet and peaceful area. Here you can relax and recharge your batteries. You may be lucky to see a flock of sperm whales in the fjord, or see eagles and deer. Rovdefjorden is a busy fjord for both large and small boats, as well as cruise ships on their way to/from Geiranger. The cabin is located 20 m from the lake, where there are good fishing opportunities (rod). Steep rocks and shallow depths. We have life jackets available.

Large and modern cabin, right by the lake in idyllic Tjørvåg. The cabin has large outdoor terraces that are excellent for barbecue and play. Large jacuzzi with salt water. Good fishing and swimming opportunities in the lake, as well as pleasant mountains if you want some exercise. It is a short distance to Fosnavåg or Ulsteinvik which has many restaurants and shops. Sunnmørsbadet (water park) is located about 13-14 min drive from the cabin. Rowboat and fishing equipment available.

Birdbox Lotsbergskaara is located at Lote, in Western Norway, at an elevation of 270 metres above sea level. With one of Norway’s most breathtaking views of fjords and mountains, you’ll experience a true sense of quiet luxury and a calm, relaxing stay. On this former small farm you can enjoy the silence with sheep and sometimes deer close to the cottage. The new cottage is located a few minutes from the majestic sea cliff Hornelen. The area offers very good fishing opportunities and hiking in the woods and mountains. We have 2 kayaks, 1 canoe, motor boat and 2 SUP boards for rent if available and on request.
