The place was perfect for our visit to Amsterdam. We always received helpful answers and advice from Wilhelmina. She's definitely a lady! Plus, the breakfast was delicious! And spending time with her was also very pleasant. 100% recommended, so don't miss the opportunity to book it!

The hostess was extremely accommodating and friendly. She asked us several times to help her explore things in the area and did so with heartfelt joy. The breakfast was also freshly prepared daily and very delicious.

We had a lovely getaway at Rainaldo and Diana's place. Gladly again, highly recommend it.

Spacious accommodations for a large group. Staff at front desk are extremely welcoming and helpful. The rooms and building facilities were extremely clean. The trains and buses are just a short walk away - 5 mins train ride to Amsterdam CS. Perfect location to explore various surrounding areas.

We had a fabulous time at Monique’s place. The view across to the windmills of Zaanse Schans was a real highlight, right up there with the breakfasts. We were unaware that the day after our arrival was King’s Day but Monique very kindly looked up the public transport timetable for us which ensured our trip into Amsterdam to join pre-booked tours went without a hitch. Monique’s checkout flexibility also allowed a second visit to Zaanse Schans which we really appreciated. Thank you so much Monique, staying with you was a wonderful end to our travels.

The main feature of this place are the hosts, who step up to the role of personal advisor, concierge, and even tour guide. The main host arranged bicycle rentals for us and gave us an introductory tour by bicycle, walked with us to help with posting a package, and gave us all sorts of guidance on places to visit and how. The apartment offers a spacious living and dining area, a good-sized bedroom, and an extra bed in the living area for a third person. Breakfasts are just what we hoped for, including organic yogurt, meuslix, delicious bread and cheese, a bit of fruit, and fresh-squeezed juice. Minor downside is that a third person has less privacy and the curtains don't fully block the streetlights.

The location for those who are not staying close to the city center is great. It's close to the subway and there are plenty of shops and restaurants as well as a big street market in the neighborhood. Rob is a wonderful host who made us the best Dutch breakfast :)

Probably one of the best places I have been to. Spacious room, quiet but 10 minutes walking from center place, absolutely lovely and responsive hosts, and a breakfast in the room that you cannot describe with words (local food, made with care and dedication). I really enjoyed my 3 days at Leiden, and will keep the reference for any future visit. Worth a 5 as few deserve!

Loes’s home in Aalsmeer is a piece of heaven, surrounded by nature with a beautiful lake some meters away. The house is very cozy, well equipped and everything at hand. Loes is always there to help you, always with an interesting topic for a little chat and helpful advice and suggestions. Thank you Loes for everything!!!

The room looked exactly like the photos, very cozy, everything clean. The entrance to the room was up very steep stairs and walking around the owner's house, we thought it would be more separate, but we never met and it was completely private. The apartment is located by the park, in a very quiet part of the city, a short walk to the bus, metro and tram, but you could also walk to the center. The room was ready for everything, the bathroom was very nice and absolutely sufficient. We had a great stay.

Irmi was a very kind and welcoming host, and we felt right at home upon entering. She was very communicative and helpful throughout our stay and gave us many tips for buying public transportation tickets. She went out of her way to make us feel comfortable and safe.

The house was absolutely beautiful and spotlessly clean. I especially loved the bathroom, and the breakfast was great. The terrace garden was stunning and such a peaceful spot to relax. Beautifull house, stylist and clean. Maurice is nice person, every day he prepare for bfast. Our b'fast feels like we stay at suite room at the hotel and the bed so comfy. Twice transit from Amsterdam to this house (this route cover by regional amsterdam pass train, recommend pass if you are tourist ). This place 10 mnt from station and supermarket by walk, and bus station in front this house. Thank you Maurice.

We loved our stay at Doet’s houseboat. It was good value for money and had useful amenities such as shampoo and conditioner, tea and coffee and a little fridge. Doet was super responsive and helpful. The only thing I didn’t quite appreciate was that the room is downstairs to someone’s apartment on the houseboat, so we could hear them getting up for work in the morning. But apart from that it was a great experience being on a houseboat in Amsterdam and would recommend it!

This location was absolutely incredible for easy, walkable access to Amsterdam. After exploring the city, I truly believe it to be the best area. Allysa gave us several great food recommendations, all delicious and affordable. Literally never had a bad meal! She also went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and provided such amazing hospitality. As mentioned in the listing, there are a few flights of narrow, steep stairs to access the top floor (as does all houses in Amsterdam); it’s super important to keep that in mind for luggage and physical limitations. We got used to it after a day or two, but the luggage was a journey LOL. The top floor is open concept with lockable doors for each bedroom, and Allysa’s apartment is at the base of the stairs. It was very comfortable without feeling like you’re sharing space. The rooftop terrace was wonderful to enjoy fresh air in the evenings! We had the best time and hope to return in the future!

What a great stay! Janmartin and Jacco made us feel welcomed and right at home. They communicated quickly, clearly, and efficiently. They provided a book of local things to do and see, including restaurants. Everything was ready when we arrived, the apartment was clean, and if we needed anything (like extra towels or information ), they responded. After exploring the Netherlands each day, we loved coming back in the evening to such a beautiful peaceful place to wind down and sleep in the comforting bed. Sunsets over the water around the block were stunning. Plenty of hot water for showers. The two of us highly recommend this Airbnb

Nearby location to visit Keukenhof. We went on a bike that Mrs. Maria lent us. That was great! The sympathy of Mr. Maria deserved our visit. Near the airport in Amsterdam. Simple locale with simple breakfast.

Beautiful country side, very nice apartment, and great hosts!

Astrid is truly an exceptional host! From the moment we arrived, she made us feel completely at home. She personally came to pick us up from the nearest station and even dropped us off at the market when we needed to shop. Since we hadn’t packed any warm clothes, she generously offered us her jackets to wear. She goes above and beyond to ensure her guests are comfortable in her lovely home. We were pleasantly surprised to find breakfast left outside our door in the morning, even though we hadn’t expected it—she made sure we were taken care of before leaving for work. Her dog is incredibly friendly and calm—not the type to bark or cause any disturbance. The house itself, as well as the room we stayed in, was absolutely adorable and cozy. Since it's her own residence, everything was well-stocked with all the amenities and supplies one could possibly need. she even dropped us back at the station when we were checking out. All in all highly recommended.

The place was totally beautiful. We were very excited and enjoyed the morning hours on the terrace. The location was also very great as we could always discover beautiful corners by bike and also easily got downtown by ferry.

Beautiful rooms, in a great environment. Mirjam is a great host who goes out of her way to make a lot of effort and freshly prepared breakfast. The rooms are furnished with a lot of love.
