A lovely, cozy (complete privacy) vacation home in the beautiful Frisian water sports village of Woudsend. The village is located in the heart of the Frisian lake district; you will be staying with the harbor master of Woudsend, Corine. The cottage's flower garden (butterfly garden) offers plenty of privacy and is situated right below the 't Lam corn mill. Come here to relax with your loved one, away from the hustle and bustle; you will find peace and quiet here, and you will be awakened by the titmouses, blackbirds, and sparrows (sometimes on Sundays by the church bells). At the top of the Netherlands, near the Wadden Coast, you will find this sustainable and energy-neutral tiny house. The cottage is located at the back of our property and is surrounded by a natural garden. It has wide views and offers a lot of privacy. The tiny house is decorated with love and in detail. It is completely made of wood and has a surface area of 30m². The cottage is fully equipped, everything you need is available. Enjoy the scenery and the skies, the tranquility and the space!

At the end of 2023, we converted our cozy B&B into an apartment that is equipped with all comforts. New since June 2024. Quiet, modern with a nod to the seventies, furnished accommodation on the waterfront with great views. Equipped with a private terrace with pleasant garden furniture where you can sit comfortably. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need and is equipped with a cozy dining area. Located in a nice neighborhood of Leeuwarden, by car only 5 minutes from the city center, by bike 8 minutes. The FEC, the event hall, is a 15-minute walk away.

Guesthouse-Tiny house Middelsea

On the border between Leeuwarden and the village of Goutum, the accommodation is located in our spacious backyard with full privacy. The cycling distance (2 bicycles and tandem available) to the city center is less than 10 minutes. On the west side, a terrace of about 16 m2 is equipped with furniture where you can enjoy the last rays of the sun until late evening. The location is located on open water, you can fish and swim in summer and use the canoe.

The Carriage House near Leeuwarden

Rural location on the Elfsteden route, on the edge of the Leeuwarder forest we rent out our "6 person coach house". The former coach house we have converted into a beautiful apartment and is next to our farm with private terrace on the south. Do you want to stay in a quiet environment where nature plays the main role then this apartment is for you. We, Ate and Gerda are owners since 2016 and have made our farm in Jelsum completely sustainable.
