Had a great stay at the sycamore cottage for a night with the girls. Was clean and had plenty of space for the 4 of us. Liked that the hot tub was private and the area was nicely decorated with lights so we could stay out when it got dark. Owner was responsive with messages and check in was so easy! Couple of shops and a pub just a short walk away too. Would deffo return.

This was my 2nd visit to the Lodge & once again really loved it, as did my hubby. Pristine , comfortable with beautiful views . A lovely walk along the river into Haworth . Enjoyed the complimentary gifts & will definitely return in the future. Thanks so much Vicky 😊

Our stay was quite pleasant. The surroundings are peaceful and beautiful and the lodge is amazing. Our hosts respected our privacy but made us comfortable they would be ready to help fix any potential issues. Highly recommended!

Staying at Emma's lodge was an absolute delight! We were looking for a remote getaway with a hot tub, and this ticked the boxes perfectly. The peaceful, relaxing atmosphere made it the perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Nestled on a charming farm, the lodge offered stunning views and a real sense of calm. One of the unexpected highlights? The friendly cows who wandered over to say hello around 11pm, it was such a sweet and memorable moment! Emma was a wonderful host, and everything about the stay felt warm and welcoming. Highly recommend for anyone looking to unwind in a tranquil, rural setting.

We’ve just returned from Lapwing Lodge. Beautiful location, very peaceful and the facilities were everything we needed. The photos don’t do it justice. The cabin was spotless and the hottub was a great bonus. Arrived to a very easy check in and we were even given until midday to leave on the departure date. Would definitely be interested in returning in the future.

Very welcoming host, there is a privacy fence so no one can see you, very very very clean accommodation, I would definitely return!

if you want the most relaxing private and peaceful stay surrounded by nature and beautiful wildlife then you must book here. we spent our days fishing relaxing in the hot tub napping and watching deer, birds of pray, fox's, rabbits and the goats of course. we cooked outside, the weather was amazing for our four night stay we could of stayed alot longer as everything you need is provided. the bed was supper comfortable aswell as the reclining chairs and the outdoor sofa perfect for napping. we cought lots of carp and found a book on fly fishing in the cabin (im still rubbish at it lol) everything was amazing and we hope to return soon.

Value for money very clean and tidy everything is there just sit back enjoy the surroundings and enjoy the complimentary bottle of fizzy in the hot tub

Lovely week staying on the park at Rob & Sarah's place. The location was superb, and the kids loved the easy access to the pool every day! Thanks for a great stay.

Absolutely lovely. A real hideaway, peaceful and restful. Ruth has thought of everything to make the stay comfortable, in fact the best sleep I’ve had in ages. Highly recommend.

We had a lovely little stay here. Perfect with two children and a great location to explore everything we wanted to explore in York and surrounding areas. Charlie checked in a few times to see if we had everything we needed, which was very kind. The caravan was lovely and clean and had everything in you could need for a few days away.

We had excellent weather and there are a lot of great hiking spots within 10 to 20 minutes drive. The lodge was nice and comfortable. We had a problem with the hot water heater on the last night we were there. It was after 6pm but I messaged Ashley thru the Airbnb app and she responded within moments and provided a workable solution within 30 minutes. I was going to give it 4 star instead of 5, but the fast response with a solution makes it worth 5 star.

Paul’s place is exactly as he advertises, a fun and comfortable man cave (though women are allowed too!). The pull-out bed was comfortable for my gf and me. The place was clean, the TV was big, the underfloor heating worked, and most importantly for us, we were able to bring our dog with us. Not many other places in Sheffield let you do that, so it was a perfect place for our stay.

In one word curlew lodge was a mini “heaven”. Perfect spot for relaxing with family. It had a beautiful atmosphere inside and out. Especially the view from the window that’s amazing. The lodge was well equipped with all amenities, well organised kitchen, spotless environment. I would like to highlight the way julia gave clear instructions to reach the lodge was amazing, it was really helpful. Honestly I miss that place , me and my partner felt so comfortable in there. I recommend it to all of you guys.

Just home from a wonderful stay! Clear Instructions, beautiful decor, spotless.. The village is lovely and Martin the host was very responsive throughout with any information l may have needed prior to the stay.. Lots of added extras which was a lovely touch.. Definitely a hidden gem, Thank you so much ☺️ x

The Chalet proved to be a lovely home from home for our 10-night stay. Dan and Jemma are super-friendly and helpful hosts. And the interior design is lovely. We particularly loved the polygraph / bar, record player, amp and record collections - and Jemma’s delicious homemade sourdough loaf! This was a perfect location from which to explore the many delights that Holmfirth has to offer. And yet it’s peaceful enough to enjoy listening to the birdsong / the rain (though there was only a little!). Thanks Dan and Jemma for a lovely stay!

I had a wonderful stay and will be back. The hut was perfect. Peter is so helpful and friendly, nothing is too much trouble. Everything has been thoughtfully put together from the gazebos, firepits, fairy lights and garden games to the clean linen, towels, kitchen utensils and modern shower with great hot water. The bus stop is a 5 minute walk away and runs half hourly. I took the bus into York and back later at night. Book and you will not be disappointed. A hidden gem.

We had a great stay at the Bothy, which is perfect for a couple for a weekend away. Beautiful location and very well designed - whilst it’s small, all the space is used really well. The pizza oven is a great touch and the outdoor area is again really well designed - despite the weather being windy and rainy we were able to comfortably sit outside under the pagoda and enjoy our (slightly burnt) pizzas. Friendly hosts who added some great extra touches for birthday celebrations and whose clear instructions made the bothy easy to find. Thank you both, we would love to come back in the future!
