Keepers Cottage is part of the Old Mill, and is a highly commended cottage located at Egton Bridge, which is a North York Moors National Park conservation area, on the coast to coast path near to the coastal town of Whitby and ideal for exploring the moors, the Yorkshire Coast, including Scarborough, Bridlington, Sandsend, Runswick Bay and Robin Hoods Bay. The Smithy at Cross Pipes, Goathland

The Smithy is a self contained stone built cottage situated on the edge of the beautiful North Yorkshire Moors. It was built in the 1800’s and was originally one of two blacksmiths serving the community of Goathland. The Smithy offers you a comfortable base to visit the local area. It is situated in the North York Moors National Park, midway between the moors and the coast and just a fifteen minute drive (or slightly longer bus ride) from Whitby. The accomodation is unusually spacious for a one bedroomed cottage, it is light, warm and very well insulated but don’t forget there is the potential for noise and smells from the farm!
