Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Le Hohwald

Jean-Michel was very welcoming and we enjoyed his very friendly cottage in addition to his swimming pool and hot tub. We highly recommend it!

We wanted a place to have some peace and quiet in the middle of nature and that is exactly what Amélie’s place is. She lives right next to the stay, however she fully respected our privacy. Amélie explained us very clearly how everything works in the house (dry toilet, how to light and manage the fire place). There is no fridge, but there is a cool room + a water fountain in which you can put the food and it preserves cold. Amélie was very friendly and we communicated very well. All in all, our experience was very nice and we hope to return some day.

We stayed at the accommodation for an extended weekend with the family. Really very cozy, the living room with adjoining open kitchen and large glass fronts is really super nice. Communication with Veronique was straightforward, for check-in you should at least speak or understand a little French, but we laughed together about small language barriers :) Thank you so much for the nice weekend!

The chalet is super cozy, clean and equipped with everything you might need. The fireplace and the sunset view put the icing on the cake :) Perfect if you look for a getaway in nature. Severine is the most warm-hearted and welcoming host!

Caroline & Olivier are attentive, responsive hosts, doing their utmost to ensure that their guests have the best possible stay. The house is secluded amid vineyards, we don't disturb anyone! Peaceful setting, very well-equipped accommodation, ideal for a small family. Thanks for this short but nice stay!

Very nice village well located between Colmar and Strasbourg. Very nice house, comfortable, well-equipped, beautiful garden and very quiet. Chantal and Philippe are welcoming, discreet and available hosts. Thank you to them for the gourmet touches upon arrival.

We really enjoyed our stay at Adriens place. it is cozy and you have everything you need. Adrien is a very friendly and helpful host, with lots of tips regarding the area. If you are looking for a quiet getaway we can only recommend staying here! :)

The accommodation perfectly matches the photos, it is functional, very well equipped and very clean. It overlooks a fairly busy street but is very well insulated. In short: perfect place, I would recommend!

We spent wonderful days at the property. The location was great. Restaurants were quick to reach and there was plenty of choice. The hot tub and the view were just beautiful. We felt very comfortable and would come back anytime!

The accommodation is spacious, the kitchen is very functional with many utensils and equipment, it's better than at home. Small basic grocery store, lots of towels, large and comfortable beds... The host was very helpful and responsive. The neighborhood is peaceful. The apartment was clean.The bed was comfortable, and the kitchen had everything you need if you plan to cook.

The perfect place to discover the following sites and cities: - Memorial Alsace-Moselle - Natzweiler Concentration Camp - Strasbourg - Mont Sainte-Odile - Obernai - Wine Route - Upper Koenigsburg - Saint Hippolyte - Sélestat The apartment is well decorated, spacious, bright with air conditioning and just above a good restaurant (unfortunately, we didn't have time to dine there). The village of Heiligenstein is charming, quiet, in the vineyard where you can taste the Klevener. We hear the church bells and the swallows. It was a relaxing Ascension weekend (the mattress is good quality and the bed is wide) exotic and rejuvenating in a place that I highly recommend. The only downside: The occupants of the first floor apartment who spoke loudly and the few planes that could be heard.

Absolutely nothing to complain about our rental. It was perfect. We also thank Stéphanie for hosting us with great kindness.

We had super nice days in Patrick's apartment. The welcome was very warm and although we arrived quite spontaneously, a homemade Gugelhupf was waiting for us. The apartment is decorated with a lot of love and there is plenty to discover. We felt right at home. The sunny terrace with great views also invites you to linger. Highly recommended!

We had a lovely stay at this place. The welcome was perfect, the accommodation bright and very clean! Isabelle was kind when she welcomed us! She took the time to explain in detail the possible outings to do! Everything was perfect. We will keep this address for a future weekend!

Great two-night stay at this property, I would 100% recommend it! It is comfortable, spacious and as described. In addition, Jérôme is responsive and available if you have any questions. And information about the surroundings is also given, which is a plus for a quality stay!

The apartment was spacious with a separate bedroom. The kitchen was well equipped. We appreciated the balcony on beautiful spring mornings. The location was great and the old town was a short walk away. Do NOT use Apple maps to navigate to the apartment as it doesn’t navigate accurately – use Google maps instead. If using as a base , recommend drive to Château du Haut-Kœnigsbourg Jeremie was a very helpful & friendly host.

We had a wonderful stay at Eric’s apartment. It was spacious, clean, and quiet while at the same time right in the heart of the old town. Communication was excellent before and throughout our stay. Having a well equipped kitchen and a grocery store a 5 minute walk away was a real plus as was the parking spot included with the apartment.
