We recently stayed at a delightful lake house in Plattsburgh to celebrate our son’s graduation from CUNY Plattsburgh. Our time there was truly special, as the tranquil atmosphere and beautiful lake views provided the perfect backdrop for our family gathering. The Boathouse was well-equipped with all the essentials we needed for a comfortable weekend stay. We appreciated the thoughtful amenities that made our time relaxing and enjoyable. The peacefulness of the lake allowed us to disconnect from our busy lives and fully immerse ourselves in this joyous occasion. Overall, our stay was a wonderful blend of celebration and serenity. We are looking forward to returning to this lovely retreat in the future!

Our three-night stay exceeded all of our expectations. For nature lovers such as ourselves, the tranquil, beautiful setting was ideal. We saw various birds right from the cottage, and numerous others in the nearby reserve. The sunsets and morning light inspired us to paint, draw and photograph, to capture a record of this beautiful place. William is a splendid host. He provided us with historical information about the area and his family’s role in settling and living in it. He is a generous and compassionate man, and inspirational in his devotion to the land and its history. A million thanks, William!

We had a wonderful time staying at this cottage! The place is even more beautiful than the photos — clean, well-equipped, warm and perfect for a family weekend. The chalet is spacious and comfortable, with a beautiful view and a peaceful atmosphere. Our host was very welcoming, caring and quick to respond to any questions we had. Again, thank you for this great experience! We recommend this place without hesitation and hope to be back soon!

This was an excellent place to stay on Lake Champlain. The house was kid friendly, which was perfect for our three young kids. They felt right at home. It was an easy walk to the peaceful, quiet beach. We hope to come back again next summer!!

I really enjoyed my 2 day stay at Vermeer House! It was very quiet and peaceful. I enjoyed all the breakfast items, including fresh milk and bread that was provided. I would return here.

Nice, clean place to stay, reasonable cost

We had a great time in Montréal, Marie and Jaques instruction on how to get to the house is clear, and they prepared a complimentary bfast the next day so we don’t have to go out early for bfast, I highly recommend their place.

We visited Cornwall for our daughter’s graduation this weekend. Our stay was seamless. Trang was so accommodating (we needed an early check in) and our entire experience was enhanced by her fantastic property. We loved every minute of our trip and couldn’t have chosen a better spot. My partner and I were looking for a little getaway spot to relax and Gordon and Louis’ place was above and beyond what we were looking for. The large fully fenced backyard is even more beautiful than in the pictures and my dog thoroughly enjoyed it. The airbnb itself was like a hotel - it had everything we needed and more. We initially planned to explore Montreal during this trip but we ended up spending more time in Point Claire and it was really lovely! Louis and Gordon are top tier hosts and I would highly recommend this airbnb.

This was the perfect snowy getaway we were looking for! The space was even larger then expected, clean, comfortable and very cozy. The views right on the lake were idyllic and we would definitely return here in the summer to take advantage of the water more! The hosts were welcoming and responsive while the space still felt private. Overall this was a peaceful weekend and we would recommend this spot for others to enjoy as well.

Easy walkable access to anywhere in the city. Clean quiet and private condo. Never heard any traffic even though in the city. Updated condo and Chris was in constant communication making sure we had everything we needed. A great first trip to Montreal for the weekend!

Our family of four had a great stay at Jason’s place. The property was spacious and clean. The sauna was a nice bonus! We paid for the parking spot associated with the unit, which was helpful for our needs, but also noticed that even on a busy weekend, parking on the street was easily available. Jason was very accommodating, responsive and easy to communicate with. We would happily stay at Drolet the next time we are in Montreal.

We loved our stay! The host was kind, everything was clean, all of the amenities worked. It was right next to a convince shop and only a short drive away from the restaurants/nightlife. Reminder that there is a quiet policy at night so don’t bring big speakers! Thank you so much!

Wonderful place to stay. Linfei was very attentive and responsive. Provided easy to follow check in instructions . Place was really well appointed. Comfy bed! Great parking .

We loved staying here and found that Rene’s associate Juan was very responsive and helpful. The location is fantastic, a few blocks from the wonderful Jean Talon market and close to bars, restaurants, groceries and the Montreal bike share Bixi (highly recommend — use a browser, not the app, to sign up). We enjoyed poking around the huge Goodwill outlet (Renaissance) nearby. We would recommend this place to any traveler.
