You'll find total privacy in our cozy cottage hideaway located in a shady garden courtyard. Off-street parking and lockbox access are provided for easy guest check in. We're centrally located in Merced's historic "Old Town" just a short walk from Downtown. Great restaurants, wine bars, movies, a playhouse and live entertainment venues are all there for your dining and relaxation pleasure. We are a non-smoking facility. This is a free-standing home built specifically as a vacation rental cottage in early 2020. It is a quiet, comfortable space in a rural setting with a private patio and views of the Sierra foothills. It is a perfect spot for a family or couple wanting to visit the National Parks nearby (80 min. to Yosemite, 120+ to Sequoia and Kings Canyon). Or, perhaps, take a short walk to a number of our tasty restaurants or bars! Our cottage has comfy beds, a beautiful kitchen, and cozy living spaces...you'll wish your stay was much longer!!!

The River Falls House

Only 13 miles from the south gate of Yosemite, this beautiful creek side home with a waterfall was once the original art studio home of a well known Yosemite Landscape Artist. Enjoy the openness of the 16 foot ceilings. High Windows flood the main room and bedrooms with light. Sleep to the soothing sound of Nelder creek (just off the deck). The creek which runs year round includes several tributaries, islands and a waterfall.
