A charming guesthouse in Dordogne

JuliaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Sandra and Francis' cottage is a haven of peace in a beautiful environment, at the foot of the beautiful Biron Castle. The house is very pleasant to live in, beautifully decorated, and turned towards a large garden conducive to rest and disconnection. You will find in Biron a cafe, a delicious delicatessen, a Romanesque church... and this charming village is located a few km from Montpazier a city where it is good to stroll at the end of the day in the small alleys of the old town or have a pot in the central square of the village! The nature that surrounds the cottage is wonderful... We were delighted by our stay, and would like to thank Sandra and Francis warmly for hosting us! We hope to be back! See you soon!
A wooden cabin is set in a natural landscape, bordered by lush greenery and wildflowers. A gravel path leads to the cabin, which features a welcoming porch with large windows. A raised garden bed is visible in the foreground, surrounded by a grassy area.

Country house

Very nice place, superbly equipped with extraordinary calm. This is the third time we've come. Super welcome. Lots of things to do, visit, walk nearby or further away but that's no problem.

Excellent stay in this green setting. Here no noise, rest, visits to the many surrounding sites (castles, caves, bastides, markets...) And not to mention swimming in the large pool, it was perfect! Thank you to our hosts for their hospitality and kindness.

The Carmelite Chartreuse

PrueRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We were so thrilled when we arrived at the accommodation. The house itself is beautiful, high ceilings, spacious rooms, tastefully decorated and located right in the heart of Domme, everything is at your doorstep. Julie was the perfect host and we were greeted on arrival and provided with local recommendations. Travelling with a 1 year old, it was great to have a bath, highchair, cot set up ready to go and everything on the ground floor so easily accessible for the pram. As we spent most nights in, the couch was super comfortable and cosy. a plus for us. Domme is a great base to see the rest of the Dordogne, with lots of villages on a short drive away. Would definitely recommend.

Charming barn, 15 m pool & large terraces

SophieRating, 5 stars10 months ago
Beautifully designed and renovated barn house. Lovely spacious airy open plan lounge and kitchen adjacent to pool. Having another terrace around the side to shade us from the sun was another bonus. All the equipment was good quality and the kitchen was really well stocked. It was spotless too. The pool is beautiful and has an amazing view. The house is private and we had a lovely relaxing week. Many thanks for a lovely holiday.

Le petit gîte

IngridRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We had a lovely stay at Caterin and Peter's. The environment is quiet in the heart of nature. Upon arrival, Caterin took us to see the donkeys and sheep. Then we went hiking from the garden to Bonaguil Castle. Quality cottage with a more than well-equipped kitchen and a king size bed at the top. Beautiful bay window overlooking the garden and we saw deer at breakfast time. Great stay, a timeless interlude, we highly recommend it!
