Set in the countryside, 4 kilometers from Condat and adjoining our home, is our Cantal farmhouse known as a longère. Thick stone walls, wooden beams, large living room with traditional fire place and log burner, internet tv, two bedrooms, bathroom, and fitted kitchen. Enjoy sitting by a roaring log fire in the winter or in the shade of the old lime tree with a glass of wine enjoying the spectacular views in the summer. Whatever the time of year, you’ll enjoy the Longère’s comfort and charm.

Aurillac 25 km away weekend or other rental, except July and August by the week.

The accommodation is located on a farm with Aubrac and Horses cows in Auvergne. It is set up in the family home but is completely independent. 10 minutes away you find the Aubrac plateau, its landscapes, hikes and gastronomic and artisanal specialties, in the north you can go to the Monts du Cantal and discover the spaces of the mountains. Le Vernet is located 4 km from Cheylade and 700 m from the Auberge du Lac des Cascades. Located at an altitude of 1100 m, you will enjoy the mountain air and the calm of a secluded hamlet. My place is good for couples, solo travelers, and families (with kids).
