Private suite vacation rentals in Laurel Highlands

We stayed at Avi's listing in July 2024 while attending a 10-day yoga teacher training in Squirrel Hill. From the original booking and all of the way through our final day, Avi was responsive and helpful in our communications. The listing looks exactly as it does in the photos and there is free street parking. Walkable to many restaurants and parks in the surrounding area and a 15-20 minute drive from downtown Pittsburgh. We experienced a few issues during our stay that couldn't be immediately addressed by Avi and he very quickly found someone to help remedy the situation. The issues were not his fault, yet he made the situation right and offered exemplary customer service. I will definitely keep Avi's listing in mind for my future visits to Pittsburgh!

Ted and Toni were awesome! They answered every time we needed them and were always willing to help or even just chit chat…they have a beautiful family and were awesome to be around. They have some pretty nice dogs to play with too! Can’t be more thankful for them during our stay than we are. They gave us a sweet card to congratulate us on our little one on the way and it truly was the sweetest.

This is a beautiful peaceful home with a lovely view. My boyfriend and I enjoyed four days here. It was warm and comfortable and we did not find much need to go anywhere else. The hot tub was so relaxing! Elvera was a lovely hostess and has provided anything you may need. I have stayed in many places through Airbnb, this one in particular is special!

Traci was an awesome host, everything you want when you're staying at an Airbnb. My daughter and I had a comfortable stay, very clean, cozy, great view. Great location right at the top of the green slopes/trails. Also, good to know, located right before the boomerang/village trail split, so you have the choice to go either way as you head out whereas the other 3 (meadow ridge, sunridge, and stonegate) you're on the village trail, which is fine too. The Grille at Sporting Clays was good, we ate there for dinner when we got in town, the chipotle brisket chili is on point. Definitely store your skis and boards in the locker as Traci recommends, her place is on the 4th floor but only 3 levels up from the lockers. Make your reservation at Out of the Fire Cafe about 20 minutes out, you will not regret it, and literally order anything off the menu. Hope you enjoy your visit, we'll certainly be back.

The stay with Toni was amazing and she really went above and beyond to be hospitable and make the stay comfortable. I was there for an extended stay for a relocation and felt I like was treated like a family member, even having dinner and meeting some family a couple times. I was able to do laundry and received helpful advice about the area and in finding a new place to live. The living space was clean and peaceful. Thank you for a wonderful stay. - SBH

The Cabin in the Woods was the perfect getaway and place to stay while attending my son's graduation from Penn State. It's an easy drive to campus that took me right by the event parking, which was convenient. Erin is extremely responsive and all of the information and instructions were clear and easy to follow. The place is spotless and the furniture is comfortable, if I ever go back to PSU for a football game or other big event, I will think of this place first!

You need not look anywhere else but White Carriage Acres. This is your home away from home in every sense of the saying. Very clean, very comfortable beds with a selection of pillows throughout the whole home, nice clean bathrooms, and the VIEW!! Rosie and Ken are two of the most sincere, nicest, and friendliest people you will ever come across not only in a rental, but in life. Their two dogs, Shadow and Gretchen are the best dogs ever. Please do yourself a favor and book this stay. You will not regret one bit of it.

My husband and I stayed here for one night and we loved it! Brady was a great host and was flexible with our arrival time. Brady had the hot tub ready for us upon arrival, as well as wood in the outdoor fire place. We spent most of our night outside enjoying the “private oasis.” What a beautiful space! Worth mentioning that the hot tub is covered so you can enjoy it even if it’s raining. This was a perk, as we were worried about rain. Thanks, Brady, for a wonderful experience! You were accommodating and communicative. We highly recommend your space!

Leah was very prompt with all responses and the apartment provided just what we needed very comfortably. Bonus points for the exercise equipment and spacious back yard!

The accommodations are beautiful and cozy. if you are looking for a quiet getaway in a lovely, nature-fillled setting, it is very nice. I was surprised that it was much smaller inside and on the porch area than it appeared in the photos on the listing. It is not a "cabin" at all; it is a small basement apartment. We made it work, but it wasn't what we were looking for. Renting a place that was in the basement of a home sounds iffy, but a bit more transparency about what the rental actually is would be helpful. The kitchen is apartment-sized with a small stove that has only one oven rack, making it difficult to cook for a large family. There is no bathtub, and the shower is very small. Water sprays and splashes out onto the rug outside, which remains soaked for the entire visit. No broom, dustpan, fans, or toilet plunger. Beds and furniture are comfortable, but not being able to turn AC on and off was a big issue. You can stay warm, but not cool. Owner controls AC from her home. Too hot

The rooms were quiet and good for sleeping.

The Little Boston Inn was so cute! We had a great time while we were in the area, and our host was incredibly friendly and kind. The room was clean and stylish, wifi was great, and the shower was hot and spacious. Be sure to check out the little bar across the street if you visit as well; our host recommended it and it was awesome. We will certainly book here again if we are in the area!

Very clean, and beautiful place to stay. Right near the Lower Rail Trail entrance (no need to drive to the trail head!). Can walk to Canoe Creek Park and access the walking trails right down the road from the property (within walking distance). Has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Very well decorated, loved our stay and will be back!

It’s a lovely place with a little green backyard garden. The experience is top class and it’s much more private than a hotel. There are birds bunnies and squirrels in the morning sunlights. I left some bread pieces in the backyard yesterday and see the bunnies still digging the ground this morning. I hope I didn’t break the bio balance haha.

What a great setting! The backyard and deck with its hot tub, saltwater pool, comfy furniture and wildlife (deer, turkey, squirrels, and birds) coming to feed was outdoor living and nature at its best. We loved their adorable and fluffy and very friendly bichon dogs. Moving indoors, the bed was exceptionally comfortable. The bathroom and closet were so very spacious that you didn't feel crowded or cluttered at all. Our hosts were very responsive to our needs. And the whole place was spotlessly clean. A number of other people mentioned the steep driveway in their reviews, and they were not wrong! Be aware, if you have mobility issues, the steps in and out of the house are high. But I managed. Overall, a great experience! Too bad it rained after the first day.

Nicholas’ place was exactly as advertised. Beautiful view from the spacious & well-equipped back-porch. House has everything you’d need. 15 minutes to Milan Puskar Stadium, 12 minutes to downtown WVU campus. Nicholas was very responsive & proactive with making sure we were able to get into the airbnb okay as well as offering to clean deck if sticks came in from the storm that came through while we were there. I’ll be looking out for availability the next time I come back to Morgantown!

Carrie’s place checked all our boxes and more. Clean, modern, comfortable (complete with soft pillows and nice mattress) and an accommodating host who was very friendly and personable. Aside from the major aspects being fabulous, it’s also the little details that make a place really stand out. Carrie’s house had HVAC control in all rooms for optimal comfort, an upscale coffee maker, snacks!, condiments, umbrellas for use, nice toiletries, tissues and even great accommodations for pets to include 🐶💩 bags and Yeti dog bowls. The location was also convenient, as we enjoyed being able to walk from her place across the bridge path to Bridgeport where we enjoyed dinner and live music at the Grumpy Beaver. The house was also close to downtown Beaver and the Saturday farmers market. My family, including pups, will return again!

We had a great time and we had everything we needed during our week-long stay. The apartment was very clean, quiet, comfortable, and updated and is exactly as described and as pictured. Check in and check out instructions were very clear and easy to follow. Our hosts went above and beyond to communicate with us. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone.

I genuinely loved Tom's place. Super modern, clean and you couldn't ask for a quieter location. I haven't slept that well in a while. Instructions to check in were great!

My wife and I stayed at Megan’s place with our two sons. Ingram is a quiet neighborhood and is an only 10-15 minutes drive from downtown Pittsburgh. The space was clean and cozy, and we have everything we needed for a weekend stay. We will definitely book her place again on a future visit to Pittsburgh!
