Two bedrooms, kitchen, and a single floor layout, the cabin is just the right size for cozy relaxing or a home base for your adventures.

Set about a quarter mile off the road, our pet friendly solar powered vacation cottage is a perfect getaway for anyone trying to spend some alone time with nature! Guests have complete privacy inside the cottage with a full kitchen, two TV's, Wi-Fi, and a mini split system for heating and cooling. As well as exclusive access to the hot tub, fire pit and pond outside! We also have various shared hiking trails through the woods surrounding the cottage for campers and cottage guests to enjoy!

1832 Historic Washington Bottom Farm Log Cabin

Welcome to our renovated 1832 Log Cabin on the grounds of the George William Washington and Sarah Wright Washington 19th century plantation. The cabin was the first structure built. Then came barns and slaves’ quarters (no longer standing). The dairy barn is now a woodworking shop and the bank barn was recently restored. The main house, built in 1835, is Greek Revival style. Today, our 300+acre is Certified Organic. We border the South Branch of the Potomac River. It’s ALMOST HEAVEN !

Schantz Haus-Farm Stay -Apt

Once considered the grossdaudy or "grandfather" house this furnished apartment now offers private space for guests. The apartment is handicap accessible with a paved parking area and private entrance. Everything you need is conveniently located on one floor with additional space in a loft accessed by a set of spiral stairs. A large porch offers space to rest where you can watch the farm work around you. Enjoy a walk around the property to meet the animals and experience farm life.

Welcome to our farm house, located on 380 beautiful acres and home to Paul Bunyan's Maple Sugar Camp! Originally built in 1868, our historic farm house is newly renovated featuring touches of rustic charm paired with modern decor, and amenities to ensure a comfortable stay! We are located just miles from Seven Springs and Hidden Valley Mountain Resorts, Somerset and the PA Turnpike Interchange, and a mile from the town of Rockwood and the Great Allegheny Passage bike trail head!

Great cottage nestled in the mountains on 63 wooded acres with barn, spring house and main house. Cottage has fireplace with first ring of logs provided. Two Smart TVs , VCR and DVD player with tapes and DVDs provided. Large deck and patio furniture off the living room with private woodland views and a babbling brook. Outdoor fire pit also provided. Close to Fallingwater, Ohiopyle and Seven Springs. Pet friendly (up to 2) and beautiful hiking trails in our woods.
