10/10! A beautiful, spacious country cottage surrounded by plenty of nature. Loved the set up of the house. Clean with clear signs of fine craftmanship and intention, making a cozy home feel. Spent lots of time exploring the area with my pup, hiking and visiting local shops. Would definitely recommend for those looking to get some quiet time and solitude amidst the Blue Ridge Mountains. We had a delightful stay. The locale was very quiet and private, which we enjoyed. Know that it is fairly remote and that the road up to the cabin is not a public road and is somewhat steep. We were in a sedan, which navigated the road fine, but I would have been concerned about traction if there were heavy rain. You'll also want to stock up on food on your way toward the cabin. If you're looking for a peaceful and remote place that is comfy, this definitely would fit the bill. We really enjoyed the hiking trail on Buffalo Mountain nearby.

What an amazing stay! Such a cozy cabin and warm ambience. From cozying up inside by the fire to sipping coffee on the porch it was the relaxing stay that I so desperately needed. The porch is expansive and has extremely comfortable rockers, the bed upstairs with the soft lighting at night is romantic and relaxing, and the property was really enjoyable to walk around. The host was friendly and very responsive. I had a wonderful time with my fur babies and would definitely come back.

We would definitely stay here again. Bathrooms and kitchen were spotless. On a clear day we had a beautiful view of the mountains and the valley below. Quaint shopping in Fancy Gap. Check out the wings and a beverage at Creek Bottom Brewing in Galax. Short trip to Mt Airy NC. We left feeling refreshed.
