Very nice, cozy traditional house in a very quiet and beautiful location. Very clean and equipped with everything you need. It has a beautiful veranda and a lot of space. The beds are very cozy. You can do beautiful hikes directly from the house. Communication with Sterei was perfect. She gave us many tips for activities and was always available. She is the perfect host. We felt very comfortable in the house.

All of it 5/5. We love nature cottages. I stayed there the second time now. It’s such a perfectly magical place in midden of nature. It’s close to the sea and you can start hiked directly from your front door! The fairy lights and hobbit houses make you feel like in a fairytales and the animals sing you to sleep! Thank you once more for that perfect stay✨

Manolis' cottage in Schinokapsala was a very enchanting place and Manolis was a very reliable and extremely courteous host. At Easter, we even received an Easter basket as a gift. We had a fantastic vacation and can wholeheartedly recommend this place. We hope we can come back again.

An incredible, historic place on a hilltop inhabited for centuries. The basis are ancient walls that have been modern and functionally prepared. Very cozy rooms, low doors, thick walls. Full kitchen. Shaded courtyard, sunny outdoor courtyard and spacious patio as an outdoor terrace with wonderful distant views over the low hills to the mountains. BBQ, large dining area, additional double bed under one roof made of palm fronds for outdoor lovers. Olive groves, vineyards, small villages. Very quiet. Both bedrooms have a French double bed and each has a very clean somewhat narrow shower room. The water pressure is just enough for showering. One bedroom is located at the kitchen and living room, the other is 5 steps over the shaded courtyard with separate entrance. Very convenient. At the end of April it was just warm enough to take advantage of the wonderful outdoor areas. This is of course different between May and October:)

Iosif's hospitality is world class. Just do yourself a favor and book this place right now. We went in spring and there were beautiful wildflowers, seasonal fruits, and an absolutely stunning view. The home has been incredibly thoughtfully restored and there are little details throughout the property that reward a careful observer. If you want an authentic experience, this is the place.

We had a lovely time in Limnes, the house and the village are perfect. I definitely would recommend staying there.

We felt comfortable with Giorgos and Evi right from the start. Despite the delay of our flight, the two of them were there late at night and calmly explained everything to us. The tiny house was very clean, functional and equipped with everything you need. We enjoyed ending the day on the atmospheric terrace or cooling off in the pool in between. Our landlords were always there for us and even brought us local desserts once. We can warmly recommend the place to anyone looking for a place to stay near Heraklion.
