A warm, cozy cottage, close to fishing, berry picking and hunting grounds The cottage is located in a village of 4 permanent residents called Äijäjoki, there are several cottages in the village. The cottage, actually a house, has been somewhat renovated but still needs a little bit of work, but it feels cozy, like a granny's house. Right next to the house there is a river that can be seen from the terrace of the outdoor sauna, the Rajajoki river is nearby. The rent includes linen, snowshoes and forest boots for four, as well as sleds and kick sleds.

There is a mobile sauna in the yard with a wood stove and it can be used. From the backyard you can go directly to the forest, even for snowshoeing. The ski slope is about 500m away. Santa's workshop village is 4 km away on foot. The kitchen has basic cooking utensils and a hob. Coffee and kettle and microwave. A dishwasher, washer and dryer are available. Bed linen and towels are included.

In addition, the main building has an access from the outside to the additional room upstairs, with two beds as well as armchairs and a small fridge for two.
