This is a magical home in a quiet location with beautiful surroundings. The host is very kind and helpful. We would absolutely stay here again.

We absolutely loved our stay! From the moment we arrived, the sweeping panoramic views stole our breath. Our hosts went above and beyond, greeting us with baskets of freshly picked fruits each morning that fueled our adventures around the farm.

So peaceful, incredible views! We loved being able to open the windows and have fresh air at night. We loved the hot tub. The home is beautifully designed, very comfortable and decorated and Ingrid is an excellent host. Definitely need a 4x4 in Sport mode to manage the short gravel road, but well worth it! About 20- 30 minutes to town. All a part of the adventure!

We enjoyed our stay! It's a nice, clean home with scenic views in an authentic, safe community. We bought a few basics for breakfast (eggs, queso blanco, milk, coffee, juice) at the nearby community mini-market (a few blocks away) so we could make breakfast at the place. If you want fresh fruits & veggies, you should stop at a bigger market on your way (La Fortuna? Or El Castillo?). We ate dinner twice at the nearby La Terraza restaurant, which was good. We loved the batidos de fruta (fruit smoothies/shakes - 'de leche' ('of milk') . My favorite is the batido de papaya (de leche). My kids also tried the strawberry, pineapple, maracuya (and I think others, too!). We enjoyed the dishes we had there, too. Internet at the house can be spotty, but there's some cell reception, too. If you're on vacation and just checking your email from time to time and researching things to do in the area, it's fine; if you're looking to be a digital nomad, this is probably not the place for you.

Great location if you're looking for a more authentic beach experience. Pochote is a small fishing village with a great beach. Nice clean fenced in yard. Everything you'd expect in a cabin. We went on a boat tour with Raccoon Travels (picked up at location that's a 5 min walk down beach). Good communication. Good value.

AMAZING. Such a beautiful and peaceful place, the view is WAY better in real, the room are big and clean with hot water, really a piece of paradise!!! The only thing to know, there is a breakfast for a great price available. Otherwise you need to think to buy some food to eat. It is not far away from the little town where you have a few restaurants (maybe 1-2?), a little convenient store and a place to get meat but it is a bumpy road to come back to get it, so think ahead and buy it before you get there!

Super séjour dans le logement de Jose. Vue imprenable sur le volcan Arenal et emplacement idéal. Nous recommandons fortement ce logement!

Maison très spacieuse avec une jolie petite piscine et un jardin magnifique, plein d'oiseaux de toutes les couleurs. Wow what an amazing view! Also an amazing garden full of hummingbirds and other lovely birds. Friendly horse that came to visit twice and reached its head over the fence. Neighbor Lilander gave us a picturesque horseback ride with a gorgeous jungle hike to a private waterfall. El Castillo is a remote, steep village. The bakery is terrific and the little market is super helpful. We enjoyed La Ventanita and Fusion for dinners. Anna and the other hosts were incredibly responsive and helpful. Thank you!!
