Beachfront vacation rentals in Lanikuhonua Beach

Great location. Right on the water. It was a little hard to find due to foliage covering the address. More specific details would have been nice. There aren’t a lot of restaurants open for dinner but it was quiet and peaceful. The ocean sounded spectacular. Host took awhile to respond hit luckily we weren’t that needy. Bedrooms downstairs were kinda musty. We didn’t have any issues with the hot water. Overall, I would recommend this place. Great spot on the north shore. Not really good for snorkeling or surfing but great for swimming. We saw honu while drinking our morning coffee

Incredible host. Incredible room. First time booking a suite on someone’s property. They were gracious hosts and made our trip memorable. Highly recommend their Airbnb. It’s tucked away from a lot of the surrounding tourist chaos. Peaceful and well rested after each night. They also take very good care of the room and linens. Would stay here again! Mahalo

Kenny was a great host for our stay. His instructions really helped in checking in. He also provided extra towels and beach stuff . we really loved the view from our bedroom. Would definitely come back next time .

We had an amazing time staying at this Waikiki gem! The location was unbeatable—just a short walk to the beach, shops, and restaurants. The unit was sparkling clean, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed, including beach towels and chairs, which were a nice bonus. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing, comfortable, and convenient place to stay in Honolulu!

This was a great find. The apartment was great. Everything was nearby, and the beach was within a walkable distance. Plus, having parking in Waikiki is a blessing.

Cute little place within a few blocks from Waikiki main beach. There are plenty of nearby food spots. Very safe location for solo traveler. Hosts were great at communicating and allowed early check-in at an extra free. Overall very satisfied with the stay at a fair price! :)

The apartment was elegant, spotless and fully stocked with everything we needed. The view was breathtaking—definitely a highlight of our stay. Even with some pool construction going on, it didn’t bother us at all. We had a great experience.

This condo in the Ilikai hotel was perfect for our trip to Oahu. Weili was always very responsive and answered all our questions. The unit was as presented and the view spectacular. I truly enjoyed the balcony. The beach chairs were a great addition and had pockets for our goodies. Trips to beach were easy. The filtered water pitcher was also appreciated and saved buying water. We will certainly return.

We loved this place! Tucked inside a late-'70s/early-'80s high-rise, it’s easy to overlook—but once you’re in, it’s clear you’ve found something truly special. Even with our late arrival, the friendly doorman set a warm tone. The unit itself was beautifully updated, with sleek finishes, modern appliances, and designer touches throughout—not to mention a breathtaking view. Waikiki can be crowded and slightly chaotic, but this space was the perfect retreat: quiet, comfortable, and effortlessly stylish. If you want front-row access to Waikiki without getting caught in the fray, this place nails it.

Elina's place is great for families with little kids. We had very easy access to the beach, pool, and lagoon. Pretty much everything a parent would want. The apartment was very clean, and easy to access (it's right next to all the elevators and laundry room!). The beach chairs, toys, and sunshade were a nice touch. Would definitely stay at her place again in the future.

Convenient location with a nice view.

Our family of four ( including a 3 & 5 y/o) had a wonderful stay! The home had everything we needed and the location was amazing! A great reef to snorkel right out front of the unit while the kiddos rested. Our favorite beaches were less than a 5 minutes drive west of the unit and had no tourists, lots of trees for shade and opportunities to snorkel with turtles. Would highly recommend for those wanting a more quiet vacation spot.

Danica’s place was great! We stayed for 3 nights as apart of our college graduation trip and it was perfect! The location is great and the place was clean! She also provided great resources and recommendations!!

This was a great place to stay if you want to get away from the really touristy areas on the island. The beach is beautiful there. This is definitely a local hangout spot where you can watch surfing from the linai most of the day. We went down and played in the waves a couple of times and the locals were very friendly to us. There was some loud music at night, but I kind of thought it was fun. The latest it was going was about 10:30 pm. We traveled all over the island in a week and this was a good home base to come back to at night. We did make sure to leave about 45 minutes early to each location we visited since there is only one road to travel the west side of the island. One negative is that there are several homeless encampments along the last few miles of the drive. However we did see homelessness all over the island, but it seemed more prevalent on the west side. We did not see any homeless on Makaha beach by the condo. We really enjoyed our stay!

We had a wonderful time. The place is very comfortable. The upper deck had a nice breeze with a view of the ocean. Acces to the beach unbeatable.

“Just book it”. Amazing views of both, diamond head and the beach, just as seen in the pictures and descriptions. You can enjoy the views all day and night. The place is located right at the beach with private access and has basic beach needs provided. Lots of places to see, see and hangout step away from the location. Dedicated parking is a blessing. It has all the amenities needed for a vacation stay. The host was very responsive all throughout our stay and provided clear and timely instructions. I would gladly choose this place again and for an extended stay.

such a cute place to stay! the beds were super comfy such a cute view. they even have beach toys and beach/pool supplies on the balcony which came in handy! they provided everything we needed for our stay and were quick to respond with any questions we had :)

Karon and Jacqui are amazing hosts! My family and I have been staying at their rental units for years and it never disappoints. Both Karon and Jacqui are very friendly and extremely responsive and accommodating, making sure my family and I are well taken care of. Both the condo and beach cottage was perfectly suited for our needs. I would definitely come again. We had a little staycation to celebrate our birthday’s and Karon and Jacqui’s place made it memorable!

Beautiful location. It's in a quiet, gated community, which was a little difficult to deal with entry. The nearby beaches were a great place to relax, not jam-packed or busy at all.
