La Petite Escale

La Petite Escale is ideal for a couple with 1 or 2 young children. It is in a quiet village on the banks of the Rance. You can enjoy nearby hiking trails, Dinan la Médiévale, Dinard l 'Anglaise, St Malo la Corsaire and the many sandy beaches within a radius of some 15 kilometers. Linens and towels are not included but on request we can provide them for 10 euros for the bed and 10 euros for the sofa if necessary.

A hidden gem on the Rance

A beautiful collection of old stone cottages on the edge of a sleepy hamlet a few hundred yards from the idyllic Rance estuary. Cosy in winter - with 2 wood stoves and a stunning kitchen/dining extension. And perfect in summer with a huge garden, patios, and woods. We only rent the entire property to ONE group at a time. It is suitable for a family, or a larger group of up to 8 adults, maximum.

Quiet and cozy family home 5 minutes from the Rance

It took us a bit of time to find the house but once in, we loved it. It’s perfect for a family holiday. Really quiet, spacious, plenty of space for everyone, big sofa, big dining table, great kitchen with all the equipment you need. The beds are really comfy too (and we’re pretty fussy!). Lots of space for cars in the drive. We had a family member with reduced mobility so the downstairs bedroom with access to the shower and the loo was great. Easy access from the kitchen to the terrace with a large table for dinner alfresco and there’s even a hammock at the bottom of the garden. The garden is pretty big for kids to run around and family to play molkky etc. Langroley is a very quiet little village but near Dinan, Dinard, St Lunaire, St Malo so perfect if you want to visit the area. Plouër-sur-Rance is a few minutes drive away has a supermarket and other amenities. Highly recommended!

If you are looking for a base, ideally located 15 minutes from everything (really! 15 minutes from Dinan, 17 from Dinard, 20 from St Malo...), quiet and surrounded by nature, don't hesitate, you will be delighted. Laurence is very welcoming, knows her region well, and the cottage is large, with a beautiful fenced land, ideal for your four-legged companion.

My family and I had a wonderful stay. The location is perfect for peace and quiet, as well as for exploring all the beautiful locations in the area. It is beautifully decorated and has everything to ensure a comfortable stay. I’d highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. There were so many thoughtful extras provided and everything necessary for the beach, especially for those with little children. The four adult bicycles were great for exploring the local area on the quiet country roads. Everything was perfect. Thanks Valerie
