The surrounding area has good hiking conditions both on foot, on skis and by bike. There is an opportunity for hunting and fishing. Right outside the door there is a well-developed network of well-prepared ski slopes. There is a short distance to the alpine resorts in Trysilfjellet (25 minutes) and Sälen (35 minutes). Here you have proximity to activities both in summer and winter.

Rånäs Skola

Stay in the old teacher's residence in Rånäs Skola. There is plenty of room for outdoor activities. With only 30 meters to the lake and access to its own jetty and boat it is easy to enjoy fishing or swimming. Tile oven and wood stove available. Some firewood is included, more can be purchased. The guest cleans themselves, cleaning is not available for purchase. Linens are not included! Access to boat (eka) and canoe is included in the price. Take a break and unwind at this peaceful oasis. Here you live without neighbors and you have a magical view of Klarälven and the forest. The house has a separate kitchen and living room as well as two bedrooms. The house is located about three km from Höljes where there is a grocery store. There is a short route to several ski resorts. The closest is Branäs (35 minutes), Trysil and Sälen (50 minutes). In addition to the house, there is also a small cabin with two beds that you can sleep in during the summer.
