We like to share our beautiful place, which is why we occasionally rent out our tiny house, "Waar geluk ligt" We have decorated it ourselves to make it as comfortable as possible. We find life in a small space with a lot of outside space to give a free feeling. Especially with the Vinkeveense Plassen in front of us. This unique place has a style at its own. Next to the lake and close to town and woods. You have a beautiful view of the lake with its sunsets from our house. You can go play at the small beaches, or go for a nice hike in the woods. Take your bike and bike around the area. If you like more the busyness of the city within 5 minutes on your bike you are there. At the house you can relax and get refreshed by the view. A wellness center is 10 minutes away by car

Benjamin is a great host, we received a great introduction into the history of the place. The appartment is very nice, clean and well maintained. It has everything you need. Also Benjamin was very helpful and attentive, he gave good recommendations for a boat rental. Fantastic base to explore the Frisian lakes by boat.

Our stay over a long weekend at the Steelhouse was incredibly relaxing. Natalia was very responsive when we had an issue with the heating/air conditioning units which we were able to quickly resolve with her guidance. Natalia also proactively provided local recommendations and very clear instructions on how to operate all the amenities within the home. We would love to stay there again!

Meike’s place was the perfect location for my partner, our dog and I to stay during our visit to Groningen. The chalet has everything needed for a comfortable stay. There is a large private outdoor space and the lakeside views from the campsite are beautiful.

We had a lovely stay! it was perfect for reading a book, do some cooking, catch up on sleep and enjoy the nature and the rocking of the boat. We did a nice 6km run as well. There are 4 boats next to each other docked to a camping van area. The King Fisher is the most outside one. There were no campervans at that time. There is a nice sauna which you can rent tho! The only thing that was a tiny tiny tiny bit disappointing, was the fact that the bedroom is not overlooking the water view but the neighbouring boat. Supermarket is a 10 minute drive by car. We didn't find restaurants on walking distance except for the campside/harbour next to it. A bike would be handy if you stay longer then 2 days. The free parking availability on the premises is definitely a plus as well. Nice place to regain back your energy!
