The B&B is located on the edge of Overasselt, a small rural village just south of Nijmegen; the oldest city of the Netherlands close to the German border. The B&B comes with a private sauna and hot tub and is the ideal destination for a private getaway for two. The area has a lot of hiking and cycling routes or you can use it as a starting point to explore the south eastern part of the country with cities such as Arnhem, Nijmegen and ‘s Hertogenbosch. Breakfast (weekends only) is by request.

B&B de Smidse, is part of Smederij Franken , where artisanal forging is still being made. However, your pet is welcome not on the bed or couch. Breakfast can be booked for 15.00 euros pp. The blacksmith is located in a rural location, good for walking and cycling trips, close to various nature reserves. Looking for a nice activity? Book a 3.5-hour workshop forging during your stay. You will get started under supervision. With a drink and a bite to eat. Cost 50 euro pp.

Welcome to Sint Hubert! Enjoy the peace and nature in this wooded area. Our accommodation is adjacent to the nature reserve de Molenheide. Here you can go hiking, mountain biking or enjoy the deer and other wildlife. If you have no need for adventure, you can relax in our garden. Take a dip in the swimming pool (heated) or unwind in the Finnish hot tub. You have access to the entire basement including king-size bed, bathroom and kitchen. See you soon!

Yurt Equus: Luxury Stay in a Horse Farm

Stay in a splinter new yurt in the middle of horse pasture? Relax and enjoy the sounds of nature. Our new yurt is beautifully located on the edge of the State Forest. The tasteful and very cozy yurt features a cozy living room, fully equipped kitchen and private bathroom. There is a high sleeping double bed where you can admire the stars on the night through the round skylight. There is an adjacent floor where you can enjoy the sun!

Peace, Space, Enjoy Water View

The house is contemporary furnished with water views. There are 5 different terraces including 2 cozy porches, 1 with a wood stove. Guests experience the bathroom with a rain shower as a wellness area. In the spacious bedroom on the ground floor there is a king-size 2- and a good single bed. On the first floor is a double bed in a separate open space. The large lawn is available for a delicious game of football or badminton!

Studio close to nature

This fully furnished studio is located behind our house, on the edge of nature and recreation areas. You walk straight from our house into nature or you get on the bus in front of the door to the historic (shopping) city of Nijmegen with shops, museums, university and hospitals. The fast cycle path towards Nijmegen is 100 meters away, a shopping center and the station are <2 km. There is a Greek restaurant opposite the B&B.
